I have already seen 5 videos of Congolese churches were they sung Nzila Velela. But by many christians it's still seen as controversial since that they label Emeneya as a "pagan" artist. About the song Nzila Velela, Emeneya said that he decided to record the song because women from chateau rouge complained about him never singing for god. But shortly after his death, a video appeared on youtube, about Marie Paul being secretly filmed and saying shortly after coming from their first trip in Kinshasa with Wenge El Paris, Emeneya visited them. According Marie Paul, Emeneya didn't had enough songs while he wanted to record Everybody and he was aware that they had songs from a well known ghostwriter. Which made Manda Chante giving him the song Nzila Velela and a part of Litanie (probably it was one song, but Emeneya modifying the text and saving it to mix it with another track).

The album Succes Fous was sadly a big flop when getting released in mai 1997, but after Emeneya performed at Stade des Martyrs people started to take attention to the album and even more when he released the remix-album Mboka Mboka, discovering that it was actually a good album. In the album there are the songs Moto na Tembe and Dieu est Vivant who have religious charaterics. Just after Emeneya death, people reffered to the song Moto na Tembe, where he asked to let tracks of Tabu Ley Rochereau, the moment he would pass away, which they also did. When listening to the Moto na Tembe and the subject, it's like Emeneya melted two songs in one. In Dieu est Vivant which on the album is wrongly titled Azaro, Emeneya is for God and also exposing women that are profiting from men that are jailed, who are using witchcraft, who are unfaithful to their men, golddiggers, etc. But differently to Moto na Tembe, he let a woman sing lead. The song sadly went totally unnoticed
