I hope that the full VHS of this event would get uploaded one day on youtube.
In August 1999, there was a 6-day festival at l'Esplanade de Stade des Martyrs to celebrate Papa Wemba's 50 anniversary and 30 years of music-career. Several bands would perform there at the festival (Delta Force of Djuna Mumbafu, Wenge El Paris, Maray Maray and Bozi Boziana)., including Papa Wemba himself.

Djouna managed the delta force band? I thought it was Lofombo?

Djuna Mumbafu performed at this festival with his own band, which was also Delta Force

The original Delta Force was co-led by Lofombo and Djuna Mumbafu. However, Djuna served as the president, as he was the face of the group. Lofombo himself also not believing that he could succeed without having Djuna on his side. Despite this, Djuna often clashed with Lofombo, as they had opposing visions. Only three months after forming Delta Force, following Pepe Kallé's death, the group had already split. Djuna left Delta Force and went on to create a new group being followed by Dokolos, Djudjuchet’s younger brother along with three musicians. It was only after the release of Tonerre de Brest that he renamed the band into 'Big One'
