Title: would Emeneya have filled Bercy if he performed there in 2008 ?

In 2003, after  almost two years in Europe with Victoria Eleison, Emeneya said in several interviews that he would  perform at Bercy during his next European tour. He described it as final challenge left to surpass his rivals, as they had not yet performed in Japan and South Korea, while he had already done it, next to Olympia, Zénith and Stade des Martyrs. Saying that he the advantage of goal average, as he was comparing music to soccer. It would also become the album-title that he wanted to release.

In the following years he kept talking about his album and Bercy, but many people were doubting if he would ever release his album and do a Bercy one day in his career. From 2005, 'Avantage ya Goal Average' would become 'Le Jour le Plus Long', which was first title of the EP he wanted to release before the album, but due to the pression of the fans, him changing the mind of releasing an EP and just changing the album-title. In 2007, Le Jour le Plus Long got finally released. Emeneya kept talking about his upcoming Bercy-show, looking for a concert promoter to let him perform there.

However, in 2008, a French concert promoter offered him a contract for Olympia. Emeneya chose Olympia instead of Bercy, postponing the Bercy project. During that era, different people, including journalist Zacharie Bababaswe, claimed that the audience attended mostly because they had not seen Emeneya perform on stage in Paris for years and not for LJLPL being a succes.

Do you think that if Emeneya had planned a show at Bercy in 2008, that it would have attracted some big buzz, as Congolese artists hadn't performed there since 2001 and that he would have filled the venue?

in 2001 with the longue histoire team definitely,but the team of bobby kimana julio and co were not as popular,so he might have needed to have a tour of several months then play at bercy in the middle then two three concerts,and concert d aurevoir
