I don’t know if he was laying in bed when recording his vocals for the first half of the song … he saved it mid-way though. This was 1999 when Werra was on fire with the public so he got a pass

Defao himself did a fantastic job on the same composition and arrangements.

Superb session album, with the strong contributions of Marie Paul, Manda Change, Koffi Alibaba, Djuna Mumbafu, Pecos, and Eugene Makuta (RIP). I wish more artists used this album concept

fun fact,i got told back then that one of sankara or  zulema the dancer hyped him up saying "presssssss obimisi voix ya se ya mayi "lol
the other time he gave a performance like that is siya ndongala  in temps present
