i think he's clocked that a good way to try to create buzz for his project of martyrs is to become omnipresent in kin's gossip,so having ferre as the "most popularly unpopular" as his target means he's automatically weekly or regulary on the big polemic pages
other than that i think he holds grudge for that concert in brazza years ago where ferre's fans followed him outside of stadium and then he performed in front of a small crowd after ferre in fespam festival

"most popularly unpopular" - Man @Archos you hit it on the money to describe Ferre. I was thinking something on similar lines for years now, but I didn’t know quite how to phrase it
We live in different times when Roga Roga has a opportunity to penetrate the Kin scene with larger concerts. Back in the prime Extra Musica, Patrouille Des Stars, Watikanya, era the Kin public and press wanted no parts of Brazza artists publicly

ferre is not a saint,just like any of his colleagues, however i think he pays the fact he stuck to the traditional way of polemic of then,even though his rival literally rejoined him indirectly and rewarded about 20 people with europe trips for that
but especially ever since dicap announced stade de france and him ferre maintaining his chilled cadence where he'd perform then have two months of total hiatus to focus on family and sessions in his home studio opened a big window to bring back that constant dragging back of anything he does which was happening before he went to prison,to an extent that even if he said he'd have a show in his house some would pop out to say he wont be able to fill the crowd space,this is where his weakness in marketing goes against him strongly,marketing in today's music is about 90 per cent of the impact in the perception of an artist,it hides a lot of "downs" in artists' career,many artists have a drop if you deep it down closely,but since you see them left right center in reels or as song background of videos of loads of people then you see them still performing you might not even notice a difference,while ferre with that lack of marketing when he disappears like that he is "exposed" because there is not some marketing handleing things in between the hot and cold moments,his fans try their best but you still need that "scientific" planned and funded marketing
