For me this is NOT it. But am sure am gonna eat good from the rhimbas when the full album comes out. @archos, who is the atalaku at 0.47…. It’s not Ambulance, or Showme or Tshandoa or Plata, the Team Wata animators I have heard before yet he sounds familiar. Could he have been in another big group before?

In terms of albums, im starting to think he’s a one-hit wonder that peaked when he was supposed to do his first Olympia that got shut out by the combatants. We’ve seen nothing that memorable since.. you have to be courageous to listen to his albums this decade in-full, no skips.

his name is gradel,he's been in the only "classic" generique of heritier of mi ange mi demon,the first one with japonais,he is the one doing a part just before heritier and before japonais does his solo where they chant his name and rhythm

The same thing as I expected, nice cries and nice partitions all jumbled together and thrown on the same track with no order , structure or dance ability. He reminds me of like England 2006/08 golden generation every generique he has the right pieces and manages to NEVER make it work, he hasn’t had a good generique since wosso 2021.
I listened to likemba from ibrators last album and it is farrrr better. Zukataku from Marie Paul again is wayyyyy better.
Heritier sort it out.

Do you think Japonais overreacted by leaving the group over that? Heritier likely seems himself as a "older" because he's a group leader and successful solo artist. Personally, I wouldn't refer to Japonais as "petition na nga" because of the age difference and Japonais is the creator of the Wenge Musica's ndombolo partition — that alone demands respect.
Heritier actually cares about his generiques, you can tell with the effort he put with Zala. However, his guitarists need creative guidance from someone experienced in proper generique creation.

something similar happened when he briefly joined ferre in qqjd days ferre himself was not bothered because they are used to it slipping here and there since 4X4 despite having a friend relationship but ferre's admins were fuming and started to act weird to japonais who has no time for bs since 4X4

I like Gradel, me personally Ambulance should be kicked out and Gradel should take his spot. Just like with Fally’s Wanna Dance the generique goes down after the sebene and into the slow parts.

I wish they kept their generiques to just 2-3 atalakus; maybe two tenors and a soprano for a nice contrast like Brigade & Bebe Kero or Celeo, Kene Kene, & Roi David trio because it makes the songs more cohesive and easier to perform at concerts. If you remember, the success of Sous Sol that opened the door to overcrowded animation section.
It's clear that Ambulance is overwhelmed by the pressure of being the primary atalaku, especially with Tshandoa gone and Chomi joining them after a strong run with Fabregas. Gradel needs more space, we can all agree there!

Generiques and sebene songs seem a struggle these days. Not sure what is going on with the genre. Heritier needs to go back to the drawing board
