Crazy! Thats huge as first concert in aged. JB is the first one to go back to Bercy
-
How much you wanna place a bet on this concert not happening
-
These are just rumours, I don’t think it’s him. I think it’s Werra who’s going to play there. There’s no way JB would take such chance which he’s not known for

Let’s see
-
If this actually happens won’t this make JB the first Congolese artist to perform at Bercy twice?
Lol “Jb and first Congolese artist” don’t even belong in the same sentence 😂😂

This one will be much shorter than the one 25 years ago tho, with his senior senior administration “Machine ya Music” accompanying him

One of the big thing that will work in his favour is NOSTALGIA
I have been seeing alot of comments and posts like below
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSXwfvgxr/
Others have memories of their youth or their parents being excited about Bercy concert in 1999.
He will have to choose his playlist to satisfy this.
-
The problem with this guy is, he is not an entertainment guy. He will play nungu nungu and not TH generic or bana DRC or Walay Dinico. JB is the most talented incompetent guy in the history of Congolese music.

I purchased my ticket this morning. Will be travelling from Canada.
It appeared that tickets were selling extremely fast.
-
That's incredible!! Tickets already selling!!!

I mean what did you expect? He announced the concert and the link was out so obviously he’s gonna sell tickets ehh lol

This is accurate.
The floor seating (Orchestra) were priced higher. It was challenging finding a ticket available because everytime I refreshed the page, the seat I selected was gone. Considering that the event is some months away in November, I have no doubt it will sell very well (potentially sell out).
Undoubtedly this may generate talks about adding a second date.

JB is still a big name and it's been a long time since people in Europe have seen him so it shouldn't be a surprise that tickets are selling. Especially since he's the only one out of those big names who hasn't performed in Europe since the ban ended. Let's not forget the success of Zebuka really brought jb back

Baluba na Baluba nde bazo somba ba ticket banngu 😂

Haha
Probleme eza te. Tozo supporter wa kwetu.

Fans of Maison Mère are claiming on social mediathat the event is being produced by the government, not being aware that Live Nation is among the biggest entertainment companies in the world
-
I think the Bercy concert was on Saturday 22 September 2001, just under 2 weeks after the infamous 9/11 incident in America

Bercy and Accor Arena are just the same hall, but with a different name. When it got opened in I believe 1984 it was called Palais Omnisport de Paris-Bercy, but people were simply calling it Bercy because the name is to long and the quarter around it is called Bercy as well . Than around 2012 or 2014 it got closed to get renovated and the seating being moved from 17.000 to 20.000 and the name of the hall being changed into Paris-Arena. Than you got a hotel that bought name which made it being changed into AccorHotels Arena and a few years later being shortened to AccorArena. However most people keep calling it Bercy due to the long history of sports (basketball, handball, tennis and boxing matches) and music being connected to its name.
You compare the situation to U-Arena. When it got opened it had the name U-Arena only to be changed into Paris La Defense Arena in 2018, due to a company buying the name. But people keep calling it U-Arena. Now another company has bought and changed it into Plenitude Arena
