Lowkey he’s been doing this for years post-Droit Chemin. Usually a couple high-budget clips, then the rest minimal expense clips from the album if they get selected for release

Basically all his générique clips one can call cheap but it’s besides the point. Clips don’t generate big revenue anymore

Also he’s said in multiple interviews he actually hates shooting clips because he’s still a bit camera shy and just prefers being in the studio. Which explains why some of his biggest hits especially from Formule 7 went without clips.
