he says guys who have been in big bands and then remained in europe should seek the face of God truely and sincerely, because like it or not they have been in bands which had a lot of good moments trips and all that but also behind all that life there was dark things behind the scenes, and the fact they were there consciously or not they were part of the system so they must really get into something deep betwen them and God to ask themselves the right questions, also for him it is a trap to continue going back closer to the ex leaders because the more you do that the more they can control you physically spiritually,he sees a lot of his fellow artists and it pains him to see that for reasons words might not be able to explain their lives are not going anywhere,so he urges them to try to become spiritually aware of whats going on,and more importantly learn to have plan b other than music because music in europe you can have something to do now then have 6 months where nobody calls you how will you feed the family? by constantly getting a foot back into the old system?there is no shame in doing regular jobs in europe so he tells the guys to be brave and go for it instead of wandering around being desperation might always bring them back into the system and then you just go sideways and backwards

There's a steep prestige tax of leaving a popular band for a solo career, as it is difficult to maintain supporters without group backing. Unlike most singers, instrumentalists have the advantage of finding work as session artists in Europe while maintaining a stable 9-to-5 job. Until Congolese music abandons its autocratic culture and respects honest publishing credits, musicians must plan an exit strategy to ensure financial stability as they start families and care for aging relatives.
I think Pathy Bass spoke nothing but truth here!
