To continue my "rhetoric" talk about this band, JB needed the whole of these years to have some change in the band? A band needs young blood like this Tigo cash.....I think balle de match, which comes out this month end will be a killer if JB has included all these new chaps. All of you that have been arguing against the firing of kibense, will go in hiding...

You can only fire someone who has failed to leave up to their expectations in their job. Kibens is not only a singer at BCBG, he's the Artistic Director and a composer. Most of these musicians you see around cannot compose music, it's not just about taking a pen and writing words otherwise the likes of Ferre, Fally etc whould not have been embarrassed in public as many times they've been embarrassed when they've failed to pay composers their fees, it's not easy composing music and that's the reason why Kibens remains at BCBG.

Miles in K578, 000 windfall after winning a case against BoZ
Apologies to critics that may opt to misunderstand this but I have to exhale to put closure on the public humiliation I suffered. In 2010, I was fired by the Bank of Zambia out of Finance Bank as Executive Director of Treasury and International Banking, a job I had held for over 7 years and been in the profession for over 13 years.
No notice and no reason was ever given for the unprecedented hounding of a corporate employee with armed security men from within and from South Africa. I was given 15 minutes to pack personal items in my office before being escorted out of the Building.
State media was loud on my eviction without stating what I had done wrong and more so given that I had never been in the Bank’s Lending Committee as was speculated.
I sued both FBZ and BOZ in the Industrial High Court and won in 2011 with compensation pegged at 6 months salary and other allowances at 13% interest. BOZ appealed to the Supreme Court and not on the merits of the case, but arguing on who should pay me between them and FBZ.
Not at any time was the Judge told what I had done wrong to warrant the inhuman dejection out of employment except that BOZ had Powers to do so.
The Real Reason was indeed political. The then BOZ and their masters did not like me because I was connected and was a strong supporter of the then Opposition leader Michael Sata and the PF.
Despite having a Legal unit, BOZ outsourced one of the most expensive law firms to ‘defend’ them in this matter but they lost. I now have a signed judgement at Supreme Court level and hence the payment of K578, 000 last week through my lawyers.
I however consider this payment as preliminary given a number of other unresolved issues on the court award.
Disclosure has hereby been made given that I am now a public servant and this type of credit to my bank account is not ordinary. As may be appreciated, this payment is of a ‘pension’ nature and hence is not available for donations and or advances. Though belated, I am happy to have finally been vindicated of that 2010 political ordeal and victimization. Miles Sampa- Former Bank Treasurer turned Politician.
If you've done business management, this is the reason why good employers don't fire unless there is a reason to do so.

apart that status of composer of half the songs of the whole group,he is also useful in monitoring young musicians who join the group and adapting them to the way bcbg play and sing
abraham and co and the new generation of bana boma,tigo cash and co alaways pay tribute to him on tv and even in private you take like djino despite his arrogance he says himself that kibens is instrumental in him no more shouting and relying only on power of his voice and now sing with a certain charm

Voila. Experience in any job really matters, Kibens' voice has gone down but we cannot write him off.

they could have formed that band in 2008 when the group came back to europe after a long time, a producer had contacted kibens,chai,rio and jdl to form a band but they refused and went to tell jb and since then jb does not want to be produced by the guy ever again
its my friend genta who told it to me,half the first teamers if not more than half(there is a similar situation in maison mere) have their wives and some of their children in europe so every europe tour is a potential occasion for guys leaving
they are even under their wives influence lol,rio's wife left him when he did not remain in europe,she was fed up of that lifestyle, i am sure many guys are under pressure aswell

The question here archos is, must these guys only be taken to Europe with the band to remain there? It means they can't just travel normally from Kin and go live there if their wives are there? make me understand the situation please.

exactly why travel with the band to go to Europe? does it mean one does not see his family until the band travels to poto? I think there is more to it. if these guys abscond would it be bad for the band? how much is a ticket from Kini to poto?

they have travel with the band or with the authorization of the band because its very hard to get visas on their own and even when some have those visas they "fear" sacrificing their career by going to europe and be tempted to never go back
so what happens is that most have girlfriends and children in kinshasa and their official wife and children in europe
either the official wife and kids go to kinshasa on holidays or whenever its possible or they stay like that for years unless like its starting to happen in bcbg,quartier latin,cultura and maison mere some musicians(especially the key ones) go to europe several times without the group and come back
like i said earlier,those who dont have that advantage or possibility for the wife and kids to come to kinshasa can stay without seeing them for years
for example, a guy like maitre ficarré who had not seen his wife and kids during the whole europe ban almost 7 years something like that,tried to remain in europe and had he not been caught by police he would probably be here in europe
in every single big group of congo there are guys in this situation and if we look at whats happening these years,we can see that most of the new solo artists make sure they have that europe opportunity settled before leaving and once they are in europe they get long term pepers through their kids and the parental authority they deserve on therm
there are many guys who are just waiting for that to leave

All I am interested in is for Kibense, Rio and JDT to leave finally including that lazy guy on drums, Segiun!!! BCBG will be fire without those chaps.....
