He's been using that name since Quatier Latin, and why not use a stage name, Werra, Koffi, Ferre and a lot of other artists do it.

Maybe he's proud of his name but I have seen on album covers he prefers to write it as Jpson.

Good rhumba song with a nice rhythm and melody and lovely touch by the maestro himself,Olivier Tshimanga. Love that Madilu System line too.

Dj sly vous vous trompez, regardez bien le crédit sous le clip, all instruments Shaka râ Mutela, guitares et bass sont joués par le Grand Prêtre Shakä Râ MUTELA. Cette musique c'est de la world pop rumba. SI Olivier Tshimanga apparait dans le clip, ce n'est que de la figuration pour Jpson.

So what is Olivier Tshimanga doing in the clip then and pretending to be playing electo acoustic guitar if he didn't actually play on the song, why didn't Jpson show  Shaka Ra Mutela playing electro acoustic guitar? All the same,thank you for the correction.

I have always seen Jpson to be the weakest link of Quatier Latin, when he was in the Band. he lasted a long time more than 10 yrs though.

His voice is good for choruses and that's how he survived but let's forget he did some good solo vocals too,this is a true testimony here
