Oh Okay I see because the slogan "Rumba na Rumba" doesn't seem to me that sebene will be played in this album.

These 3 chaps are better than our BCBG fellas, they are the 3 I wanted to start a thread about but haven't had time,maybe you can write about them archos?

unfortunately i dont know much about them except that biscuit was in extra musica to replace kila mbongo but as a kinshasa man he was badly welcomed like it often happen in many groups(kinshasa guys were not welcomed in brazza and vice versa)
then he started with wemba in 2001 until today,bob djamusket was rejected in les ppu in 2001 for kilimandjaro and cpp came in two years later after a short time in cultura (one month something like that)

They seem more of the old fashioned atalakus.

Thanx a lot archos. I am sure JB regrets that he rejected Bob Djamusket who is now as good as Genta and he sounds more natural than Genta who clearly pushes his voice to sound good.

Hahaha, I think you just don't know them, they are excellent atalukus , you need to watch a live concert by Viva to know what these guys can do

Do you really know Congolese music well? The fact that you asked who these atalukus were to me sounds like you only know a few musicians from Congo, those who are really popular and active today. What I can say is that you simply don't know much about Viva La Musica and you're not willing to discover so you stay in your comfort zone and you'll not learn much.

Hahahah trust trust me when I say I know a lot about Congolese music...but about Papa Wemba's generique's he can't do them he just needs to stick to rhumba...he plays sebene that was meant to stay in the late 80's and into the 90's. And the oldest album of his I've listened to is Pole Postiton and apart from that rien.

Papa Wemba actually has been making better music than everyone else. Papa Wemba is the one who has managed to still make great music. Papa Wemba was at his best during the 1994-98 period. But Wemba still makes great music even today's standards.
