You wanted to know why the rhythm guitar seems to be richer in Maison Mére's music these days,part of the answer is here from Min 6.15 You can see Werra asking the sound engineer to put more gain/ volume on the rhythm guitar

Nothing to do with whose own or off,it's the way the way the music is being arranged by Werra, it's more rhythm based, it started from malewa when the rhythm went more traditional so the sound engineer has to put more gain on output of the rhythm guitar amp when it's time for the traditional part where the solo guitar is paused.

In the first clip you can hear Werra calling out Flamme to mute the lead and let the rythm take over, this was before Malewa.
