often under-rated by his quality is unmatched but his touch on the bass is excellent proper old school kumbela touch nowadays the bassist have more of jazz touch but nonetheless christian mwepu is a excellent bass player

Nice one. I have always been forgetting to ask. How come he played on most of the Wenge Musica Maison Mere songs especially on Intervention Rapide, did Didier masala go away for sometime before coming back to rejoin Werra and Adolphe?

this is where conflict started,werra refused all the musicians didier brought and also apart the fact masela himself appreciated christian and had no problem sharing with him,it was part of forcing him out as "he did not make enough effort for the group" according to werra and thought his status of the group's founder was enough/

I don't know how many times I have played this clip today, raw bass is so addictive, sounds good on my computer which has a subwoofer connected,sounds just like am watching live at a concert!! ;)
