Kimbangu was a photocopy of Flamme Kapaya his idle and like his idol makes too many mistakes when playing because of playing too fast but this guy Christian never makes errors, he's studied guitar to perfection, he plays excellent rhythm too. Kimbangu didn't do much in Maison Mere, all their work is there for all to check, they are both excellent soloists but the more complete guitarist is Christian.

No Dj Sly, to me Flame Kapaya was the best soloist to grace Maison Mere guitars, there is no way you can compare him with Christian Bombole, Kapaya have left behind a number licks unrivaled by any one, what did this guy left of note?

Well,we all have different tastes.
I know for a fact that Flamme Kapaya and Kimbangu were the most creative soloists at Maison Mére but not necessarily the best guitarists, it's about the bigger picture not just creation of guitar licks.
I personally rate Christian Bombole, Patou Solo, Ramazani and Domingo Mbetenge in the class of Alain Makaba and Olivier Tshimanga, these are soloists who don't fuck about and make silly mistakes when playing, they know every note and play crisp clear and on point notes be it in a sebene or a rhumba song and they know how to perfectly arrange songs, this is one thing Flamme Kapaya failed on.

Every instrument has a way of playing it and the sound it produces is based on how it's being played, you can tell if a guitarist has made a mistake based on what you hear just like someone who doesn't drive can tell that a driver has made a mistake.
Felly Tyson is not the only one I have left out, the list is not exhaustive so I would include Felly Tyson, Hadji Solo, Zing Kapaya, Koko Ngemba, Mboka Liya ,Japonais and many other complete guitarists who understand guitar 100% and play effortlessly.

Flamme Kapaya in the 90s was at his worst but still produced good partitions kalayi boeing remix and mission impossible, he was so bad at rhythm but later I think Japonais schooled him own a few techniques of how to play the guitar that benefited him then he went to on to play solola bien generique and a few other songs. But in 2001 he was a changed man more calm and composed and became complete good rhythm and excellent on lead from then on untouchable not to much errors so in my opinion I believe he became complete

to some extent, we have really underated the soukous solo guitarists. madoka and diblo did good jobs for pepe kalle, soukous stars etc.....nice licks

No we do not underrate,we merely do not mention them because of the style they play and because they are literally in oblivion. The last time I heard of Caen Madoka was on fally's album and when he accompanied Awilo Longomba on some tours not long ago, they went to the USA too.
