Title: WHICH LEADER LETS HIS MUSICIANS SHINE???

Some leaders hug almost all the spot light letting  their musicians shine very little..( was just watching  Koffi). This got me thinking which leaders are generous and which are mean with the spotlight?

Koffi used to let his musicians shine a lot not anymore...ever since Fally and company left him.  At the moment, I would say Werrason really let's his individual musicians shine and mainly it's because he's an average singer himself so cannot take the lead, he has to rely on young ones that's why he's constantly recruituing coz they leave him as soon as they think he's marketed them enough and they've earned enough to go solo.
Ferre Gola I should say tries, he's really promoted his musicians even when he's not done a group album before.  Papa Wemba should be the best out there, he gives so many opportunities to his musicians and gives them all the freedom to release solo albums but they still go back to him.

Sly you are correct. Ike you said most of the videos I have, koffi used to expose his staff buti think after fally and co, left, he has a phobia......the least on the list is jb mpiana. he used to do it just when he took over wenge bcbg up to some time around 2001. since then, he has beeb reserved and seldom does it.  think the ppu that left him after bercy led to a phobia too. just a thought.

well Jb does since 2000 he has not released a solo album it's been group albums and most musicians get a song or so, therefore he lets them shine with songs on the album

I was just listening to a  koffi sebene when it starts to really kick in he does rrrriiiiiiyyyyyaaaa !!!!

Werra and JB both let their singers shine and Ferre is following their steps but he hasn't done a group album yet and Fally doesn't really let his singers shine but he is letting his musicians do a group album.

letting artists shine is giving them space and praising them during concerts. telling fans the strength of the artist, what he does best etc.....watch wenge bcbg paris just after the split. when they were in yellow jackets and black trousers. jb introduced makaba, patience, bula, afande, mboka liya, name them.....werrason has done that ever since he formed his band
