What kills the ability of the band is that the good guys who can propel the band to great levels are taken too much for a ride. how I wish bcbg band members were also defecting at lightning speed, jb would wake up from his deep sleep.

Shamala, do you really love bcbg?..........that band is on ICU. Before it dies, the people I have proposed to leave, definitely have to. Especially segiun mignon, rio and kibense. jdl can remain.

Emo i think it is not..my philosophy is quite different? i like stability, culture and more than just business attitude.
i explain......
stability
i like stable bands where thet he coming and goings are not disruptive,a band with a learning curve and generally has contented members. for example rarely do bcbg members leave even when if they join another band they will have more airplay. if you check the young members in the band joined long time ago yet despite not in the main line up are still with the movement.sakoko joined in 2000 and he still plays 2nd to Kibense(used this example intentiionally). lastly look at when they leave they are gennerally in good times. i think i have a dvd where JB tells Alain Mpela that he ccan return whenever he wants.lastly as a fan i get to know most of the band members as they stay for a while.
culture
i posted a while ago..young members generally respect their elders.during interviews you will notice this further their demeanor in front of cameras is general is cool. artiste join and learn what bcbg is and there is mentoring by seniors ( notice each senior member has an apprentice). of course when you listen to bcbg play oldies one can easily recognize them as opposed to other groups. junior members also replicate these oldies quite well. this inculcation makes one owe his tutor.is bcbg the only band honoring the Maisha pact?Bcbg for example rarely recruits directly from other big bands. lastly bcbg members relate quite well with other band members.
more than business attitude
a view of a band as just business makes the members make hay while the sun is still shining. on a positive note this makes one work extra hard . conversely it also bring in negative competition traits aka witchcraft, backstabbing, etc. bcbg can be viewed as a family. notice Archos posted how some members got in and generally it is through the seniors. artistes are adults with families and friends and some of the humiliations i see in other groups is disheartening mind you this is despite this guys having contributed alot .treating your employees with decorum is not a bad thing.
all in all Emo BCBG is run by someone else not us and while we can voice our frustration with the group ultimately decision belong to the owner.
a question does bcbg have renowned composers who are band member?. if so who are they and where have they contributed to apart from bcbg?

there is kibens and zulema plus boguys, they are not allowed to sell songs to other artists but they can help out
for example kibens in private will check some texts with werra and add some ideas and thats it

Shamala, I know you love bcbg hardco.....but I have a strong feeling you came to know them after the split and probarbly started being in love with the band lately. I have known wenge musica during their formation days. I used to leave in chililabombwe, in the copperbelt province of Zambia. kasumbalesa, a congolese boarder town with chililabombwe was porous to so many cassette tapes and VHS video tapes of Zaire music including wenge musica. in my blood, I know the structure of how the band played music. today, you do not get the wenge musica pure style in the factions but at least JB and Blaise bula have tried. Werrason has gone far into fusing in other styles but still remains a wenge, because he has retained the belief and concept of entertainment which wenge was known for. JB has ditched that for lazyness and brotherhood which is bad for the music industry. his band has kept the same energy levels since anti terro and there has been no change since. come on, in congo, you can get a 14 year old street kid from the street, give him a loaf of bread, a new shoe and clothes, bath him, tomorrow you sing with him in some closed doors. the third day you are in kinshasa, goma, bandal, and he is shining on stage. It happened to ferre gola et tshikito. who is kibense, rio, jdl, chai, segiun mignon to the many hundreds to thousand hungry singers in the streets of kin?
JB will die the most talented but worse strategist congolese music industry has ever produced. this I will keep talking and talking until you look elsewhere or block ears.

That is a very true statement.

i agree, strategy is not and at his age will never ever be in his strengths, that's why he had good strategiy guys around him, werra then alain mpela and caludji
maybe the scheduled return of public rehearsals after fikin days might bring a bit of improvement with fans' interaction
-
Archos age and strategy are not in a co-relation such as less old is more strategic. its just not ins his blood
