- i'm heading back home with a lot of satisfaction and i congratulate a'salfo(organizer of the festival) all was well organized from airport to stage
i am very pleased and i encourage organizer to continue like that

i am over the moon with the warm reception i got from fans here at anoumabo,i have discovered here a different fanbase than i am used to
they were asking for song i could not imagine they knew, it was a great pleasure for me playing in front of guys who do not have possibiliy to pay tickets

to be honest,i was not really informed about this festival,it's after press conference in paris and when i watched videos of previous editions i realised its an international festival
also it allowed me to came perform in ivory coast,and i am glad about it
- why did you give 150 euros to fans?
I just wanted to make fans of this village happy,not to show that i have money,FEMUA is involved into social action and this was my little contribution
also i heard that there was ivorian guys here who could dance like us congolese so i gave that money to motivate them (he laughs)

-aren't you tempted to recruit an ivorian dancer?
why not?but i am not going straight back to kinshasa, i am going to paris,i will find a solution to make it possible

you said it,i am the captain of rumba singers,of course there are older singers than me who made history but i say that i am the captain

the main difference is melodies,in my case i like using guitars, i mix classic rumba with a bit of RNB,but overall my style is quite close to franco's,that's why people appreciate it a lot

There was grand kallé,franco also rochereau and papa wemba, i am their heir, i am the new rochereau,because all of them were tenor singers
