Do Akongo says Ferre Gola stole the song Fonctionnaire from him. He says he worked on this song in Kinshasa with some kin based musicians and recorded it. He went to Europe for some projects and someone called him saying that Ferre was recording the song on his album so Do Akongo called Ferre who said he didn't know but Do gave Ferre permission to own the song on the arrangement that Ferre would also record one new song on Do Akongo's forthcoming album but when Akongo later started recording,Ferre was not answering his phone and to date Ferre has not bothered to call Do Akongo so Do Akongo will release the song in its original form(traditional song.)

Vieux Dikoel has embarrassed himself, it's not the best way to react, he should have just sued Ferre coz even if he releases the original song it will not be as good as Ferre's.

Great stuff, Ferre needs to be taught a lesson, everyone now knows Ferre is stingy and that's not good for his career because he's differed with 3 of the best composers so far ie Do Akongo, El Dorado and Olivier Tshimanga, am so sure Mbetenge wasn't happy too that's why he gave he reused one melody from Ferre's song in Jitrois song.

All these bad publicity is bad for Ferre's carrier. This is a game that Do Akongo is a major player and when you decide not to pick up his calls after you had a gentleman agreement then that can only be termed as stupid and disrespectful. Ferre needs to acknowledge the fact that it takes proper sacrifice to come up with a song, thats why he himself can not compose them.
