I seem to be missing the Youtube icon when i want to post a youtube video. am forced to use the hyperlink icon! help!

Just copy paste the youtube link into the post. It is a secret feature have been known by the admins only so far!  ;)

Anyway, the icon is back, it has just disappeared due to the mobile theme update, but now you can use that, too.
