Lingala is quite funny, some words seem out odd for instance komela can mean to drink or to smoke, very strange indeed.

I heard "ko mela bangi" for the first time ever two weeks ago when this 10 year old kid was making jokes and he said "ko mela bangi" :-\ :D :D

In my Zambian language, weed is also called ibangé so the term ''bangi'' to refer to weed in lingala sounds familiar.
