This was when Papa Wemba was in Zaiko. His was called at that time Jules Shungu Wembadio. This was dedicated to his wife Rose "Amazone". A part of this song would be remixed later in the rock-song Zonga Zonga that he recorded in 1978.

The years of whiskey and cigarettes and cigars contribute to the change of voices for all musicians. Even koffi never sang the way he does today, JB, Defao, all these guys' voices are deeper and hoarse now.  ;D
