Where did he tour,i don't even think he made it to Brazza moreover, African tours are nothing for congolese musicians, he never went anywhere significant with Ferre,those who have gone with Ferre to zenith are the ones who know how big Ferre's band is not this little gay looking embecile.

Matadien a novice when he's even got more experience than Arnake since he was in Maison Mere before Arnake even started touching the microphone in Ferre's band.

Take it easy guys. What did you expect him to say....thats so obvious. Its like expecting Marchouse to say Werra has the best voice. Anyway...is he wrong? What makes a group big? Is it number of singers? Is it length of existence. Is it good songs done by group? Is it nice voice of a singer? Deplick has good voice, is he big? Blaise Bula has been in music for a long time...is his group big. Whats wrong with a small group anyway? Athletical madrid had a very small aquad with only one known striker but won laliga and played the best football in spain.

Yeah,some of us are not surprised by the boy's remarks just like i said in the story about Celeo complaining about Maison Mere but the fact of the matter is that Ferre's band is not small, at the moment Ferre's band is doing bigger things than Maison Mere who are stuck at La Zamba with 5 groups of bands doing rehearsals day in day out and at the end of the day producing mediocre music.

WMM are not stack at la zamba. Its the energy to tour for small amounts that discourages these guys. Some of these guys touring are doing it to build a fanbase not that they have so much market or demand compared to others. Ferre of late has traveled a lot more than JB, Werra, Koffi, Fally. Its not that Werra has no demand in Tanzania, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe...These guys have made names in these countries and firms would jump at the opportunity of having them. Werra a master of concerts cannot fail to strike a deal in these countries who appreciate congolese music for its sebenes and less for its slows. With powerful staff like intervention rapid, solola bien, tindika lokito, kibuisa, alaque leu lue, temoignage, alerte general, saulsuol, malewa, ingeta....why on earth would wmm fail to perform. The sample of excellent sebenes is too huge unlike being restricted to three also sebenes with plenty or rhumbas that acts as perfect valium to help people doze while standing. So these guys arent making as much as they used to in europe. So they boy could have been ironical but lets be frank is It not true. Yes Ferre is an excellent singer with great potential and has done 1 average zenith concert, vita imana, 100 kilos, kimbombanda and a few other tracks does that make his group big? How do we define a big group? The way l take it is that its not harmfull to like both Ferre and Werra and when u like Ferre and not Werra that does not make him any bigger than the mighty eternal wmm.

Nkosi, If Werra and Maison Mere can play in any country and strike a deal quickly then why aren't they playing a lot of concerts like Fally and Ferre??

Ferre Tours more than Werra because he is cheap, he has been coming to East Africa and perform in small halls and you cant even notice his presence,Werra and Koffi are expensive, and they demand to be placed in a five star hotels that is why they don't tour as much as Ferre who can perform for a living

The likes of JB Mpiana have played to in a parked car park in Europe and it was dubbed the best concert of the year, that was his first concert in Europe after his problems in schengen space.

Nkosi, I like all musicians, to me it doesn't matter whether it's Ferre of Werra, if they do good stuff I appreciate and I also never fail to note their crap work because they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
Ferre is a young chap for sure but to say he's a small musician is just an insult because at his age and as a solo artist for that matter he's achieved more than what Werra achieved musically at the same age and stage of his professional career, it doesn't matter whether he does monotonous music the fact still remains he's managed to grab for himself a good market share and he's more active than some major musicians who started many years ago so for a small boy like Arnake to insult him on tv is not acceptable but not surprising.

I am not lying, I am a staunching Congolese Music Fan here in Tanzania, and I am connected to a number of Promoters and they do say openly how what is the demand of this musicians, the cheapest who have toured TZ are Ferre and Adolph

As i have said, only Koffi Olomide makes wild demands prior to his appearance and most genuine promoters pay up. Everyone else adjusts to the promoters' needs and budget however, it doesn't really matter if one doesn't demand much money from promoters, it's all about being relevant and active, Ferre, like Fally is doing it very well, he has a mix of audiences, he also does private shows for wealthy people across the world, he's the only major congolese musician who has even played successfully in Europe and even in South Africa when others including Werrason have failed, he's appreciated for his professionalism and hats off to him, he is who he is because of his hardwork and not focussing too much on money but off course he's now wealthy thanx to his fans across the world.
