What kind of a guitarist refuses to carry a guitar and play during an interview, this man is not confident all, he seems not to want to play when he's the focus and alone in an interview, the only time I have seen him play is when there is another guitarist with him and there are singers are doing their thing.

I think it is his style ..I have seen one where he didn't have his guitar during an interview. when asked to play something he took Ekembes and played something.

Normal and high flying musicians always carry their instruments in their car boot so for a professional guitarist like him he should know that people will want to talk to him and ask that he plays a tune, it's also one way of earning money when requested to play randomly, it also helps with creativity as most musicians are constantly creating stuff in their heads and want to try out ideas on the spot.
