Like most musicians he started at church and in streets, he was a tenor singer in a church where reddy amisi and lokua kanza also started music at before him, then he was part of a street group with papa lobanzo,mogratana,ramazani... and really switched to guitar
he went to do akongo's group for 9 years and really learned professional music( he was group mate there with eboa lotin,nono fudji,atshuda,atalakus equaliser and aspirine...)
and when those guys went in big groups, he actually thought about abandoning music since the group had lost most of his key members
then he was introduced to bill clinton,he was recording solos on cassettes and it was taken to bill who gave it to koko ngemba
he is grateful to bill for having promoted him,because many artists are talented but unknown because they never have luck to be promoted by someone,and when people know who you are they respect you more
then on presenter's demand he interprets solos from victoria,viva,cultura
he reveals he has now joined the group of sam tshintu( i foresee mocking comments looooooool) and plays an extract of his parts on generique

Not everyone can afford lotion moreover you can see that he's quite dark skinned and for other people it may be medication they are on that makes their skin so dry.

I don't see anything weird, it's normal, he's using a pick and not using his fingers to pick the strings.

To me he seems to be someone who is going through a rough phase as most people do at some point in Africa. There comes a time when you really suffer and have no hope and having a meal a day is a struggle.

his finger picking looks normal but he holds the pick funny almost like one of us beginners until you hear him play...
