This actually good again Gentamicine rocking the whole generique but one problem the drumming was slow if it was more pacey, energized and electric it would have been 10x better but it's still a good effort Well done

I love the fact that there is only Genta doing the animation and the solo guitar is loud and clear this time, 75% of the generique is excellent but the last part I don't appreciate!

I have had chance to listen to the generique on my PC which has the Beats Audio system, the mixing was shit, the drums are played well but as usual they are suppressed because the sound engineer couldn't bother to correct things on his mixer and JB Mpiana and his Artistic Director weren't bothered to reject the final recording.
I played around with the recording a bit and I chopped off the crap at the end to leave only what I think is sebene in this generique, I have removed some bass too as it was too much and contributed to the suppression of other instruments.

exactly,bcbg have been doing the same mistakes in many generiques,sunda bass very lound almost replacing the drums especially as he likes following the atalaku like soloist sometimes do, ngongi too high aswell and when it happens with the synthé parts which are many used in bcbg for slow traditional-like parts its not nice to ears
then i also wonder why only seguin sounds the way he sounds because he plays in same studios as others but he is always the one who's drumming is not really "highlighted"
he is better than most of his displays in bcbg generiques suggest

This guy Seguin is incompetent and he lacks serious competition as he is favourite for Jb, i agree with your point on Tosa Olia or even Pelisa ngwasuma/bongolowayi his drumming was top-notch

The feedback and dislikes on youtube should be a clear indicator that it's a failure. The part I have deleted from the generique is what made it boring,all that ''kimbogila and Sulutani tatu wani'' stuff or whatever they were singing is boring that's why people forgot that it's actually sebene.

The beginning of this generique is heavily OK Jazz influenced... I wish he would've kept it going. In regards to BCBG, they haven't been consistent since Internet in my opinion. So his shitty approach doesn't surprise me.

It's a sebene not a rhumba so why would he have kept the rhumba?? Bcbg have made good generiques like Kipe Ya Yo and Quel Est Ton Probleme, Biloko and the other Primus generique that starts with a K since Internet.

You guys are funny. I have been trying to teach from lower class to upper class that JB has to get rid of the killers of his music and most of you have rebuked me. At least Sly has swallowed his rigidity and accepted the flaws of Round man segiun mignon maniata. Now let me tell you the negative of this generic like i have said before :
Jb's music has been static since the release of Anti terro when proper sound geniuses like Prince makaba had left including the evergreen titina mbuinga. This generic of jb is still at anti terro generic level and things have not changed. I like the fact that the solo is audible but that effort has been engulfed again by the useless atalakuism of finished genta and the dead drumming of segiun. And when you are surrounded by old man kibense, shit comes out as the total sound is not checked properly. I have said time and again unless you dont have effective eardrums, that jb will only make change when he gets rid of the causes of bcbg brain fog. Also do not expect a good balle de match if the status quo continues.
This is a shit generic that starts and ends the same.kindly listen to direct by felix wazekwa and jbs generic will be a 2/10.

Rio is not relevant in this generic. He is only a factor when it comes to singing and dancing. Thats were he contributes to the mess.

The overall arrangement of the generique is very poor but it's not Seguin's fault completely, it's JB's fault for accepting a substandard product from the studio and his artistic Director.
Listen to this extract by Ferre, the drums from this extract are suppressed but you can tell the sebene is killer just by the way tempo, the atalukus and the killer solo guitar.

In ferres generic you can tell that there is energy in it and this only comes on when you have young vibrant artists not the complacent segiun, sunda bass, genta etc. These guys should all be replaced.

just had a little chat with mpiano himself and he said that sound was raw like when biloko and kiyunguzuna first leaked back then and he will be in paris in next few days so they will do a proper mixing and correcting a few things at studio palais des congres,but still did i tell him about the criticism hopefully he'll take it into account
then the final version will be associate with clip and released for christmas and new year parties

They can mix and master this generique all they want and it will still be a bad generique, we're just waiting for Ferre,Werra & Maison Mere, Fally and F-Victeam and hopefully Brigade to release their projects next month.

The sound is not a major problem as it's only the drums which are inaudible, everything else is perfect where sound is concerned, we can even here the shaker perfectly, the actual problem with the generique is the arrangement, it's rubbish, the best part of the generique is where the solo guitar starts but then it starts after 2 minutes then lasts another 2 minutes before the tempo and rhythm changes completely with the ataluku just shouting randomly.
Where sound is concerned, there is little that can be done if the recording was done poorly especially the downmixing so unless the rough copy is in a format where the mixing engineer can still separate the audio channels ie drums, solo guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals individually it's a difficult task to correct the suppressed drums depending on how the recording was done, maybe the drum microphones were bad so that can't be corrected after recording.

When did we start having problems in recording one generic? If jb is serious with giving us a generic by Christmas, he can just get the right people , go in studio today and by Christmas it can be done.
