He says he is not into intensive self- praising and promotion of himself as he lets fans judge and appreciate what he does well or not
what matters to him is not fame but rather the legacy he'll leave as a musician as we are not eternal on Earth and he hopes younger artists who are around or will appear in future will have a similar objective
2014 as been a positive year for him because with album vitrine released almost 4 years ago he still has a good number of concerts and thanks to that album he has been associated to serious projects like a song against ebola virus,a song for road safety
he currently works on a new album "Plan B" and thinks it will be much better than vitrine
journalist then asks him if he misses his past years of a popular chef d orchestre of cultura or his much promoted arrival in quartier latin for example and he says if he misses those moments a lot its like a grown man saying he'd rather have remained a baby, he is not a guy who likes everything to be given on a plate because he fought hard to become who he is today so it was normal to continue growing and have more responsabilities
about his relationships with koffi and wazekwa he says he has no problem with them and does not want to be in any conflicts with them because they contributed to his life and career and when asked about his reputation of being arrogant he says he is misunderstood because he is just a shy and laid back guy and even koffi used to complain to him that he was never coming to his house to chat and so on like fally and co used to do and he was not interested in being often at koffi's house because he considered their relationship purely professional so he is not arrogant he is actually a very simple guy who does not think he is a "superhuman" because of a bit of fame and who does not like to force things he prefer letting things happen naturally and says if the journalist wants they can even go for a walk on a long distance in kinshasa streets because he knows doing that wont change anything to his life (as opposed to what most famous guys tend to think)
he inspires himself of lokua kanza who is for him one of the 5 6 most talented singers of DRC but who is simple,walks in streets always with his guitar without bodyguards and so on and takes taxis but not because he does not have enough money to buy fancy cars and it changes nothing to his greatness
being an artist or being popular does not mean you have to be too much into "bling bling" and fool people about an utopic rosy life
talking about hono and gesac who are no longer fulltime with him he says both have decided to go for personal projects but they still contribute when needed and they are still close friends so it was not because of fall out
he then goes on to criticize a couple of things in congolese music,like the fact some artists instead of using the immense variety of rhythms we have in congo try to copy ghanaian,nigerians and co whereas few years ago when congolese music was at its best those countries were inspiring themselves of us,fearing us respecting us
he then says instead of letting situation like that and relying on money from mabanga only,musicians could all team up and do a proper protest in streets to force authorities to seriously do something for copyrights and piracy issues because it will benefit to them and to musicians aswell as both parts will get money if things are well organized
then he criticizes interviewers for often push musicians to stay stupid things to create polemic so that their sites or tv's can create "buzz"
once again journalist tells him his reflexion and behaviour is quite different from many artists, and he says its high time for congolese musicians to abandon a bit their "star attitude" with too much show off and act like normal people hence doing also music for normal people,with a certain maturity
in one of his concerts of the last days of this year he'll have a concert for campaing against tuberculosis and tells people to be very careful because there is a new form of tuberculosis which is more dangerous and which resists to treatments people use to have and recover in the past and that they should avoid doing self medication and see specialists
people tends to focus on AIDS more but there are other dangerous diseases like that one or leprosy
in january he will be in europe to finish his album and then he will announce date

Wonderful analysis by him. I was just short of saying the same but i feared i would be misunderstood. I have been thinking the same about congolese music stars,their behaviour is not normal at all,i don't know whether it's lack of exposure or lack of education for most of them.
We hear talk of so and so has a diploma etc but i really doubt, where do they get their diplomas from? Not long ago, we read that JB and Werrason's daughters got their ''diplomas'' yet they were high school pupils so am beginning to think these diplomas people talk about are actually high school leaving certificates. I think these are the same certificates the likes of JB,Werrason and others probably attained. I think it's only the likes of Koffi and Wazekwa who actually have higher education and between Koffi and Wazekwa it's Wazekwa who behaves in a decent way.
The same can be said about most musicians and sports stars,i think it's lack of education that makes them believe like idiots. ;D ;D ;D ;D

"In God, we trust forever ".........Wazekwa is the most educated among all Congolese artists. I think i read this fact in some profile about him.
