It looks like they crowned Koffi as traditional chief like Defao, Michael Jackson, LL Cool J and many other stars back in the days when they came to Abidjan. Did Koffi sign a new pact in Abidjan during his holiday and recording of Bana Zebola in Abidjan ?

they did a national mourning for two or three days,at the beginning koffi did not really react which lead to people's anger and as result he has been blacklisted there, then he reacted few days after with help of david monsoh on ivorian tv to apologize and present condolences but unfortunately for him it did not calm fans down
by the way jb should have played there few times was kicked out with stones they feared congolese musicians a bit i think,even awilo longomba only played there the year after

Koffi said nothing after that incident. one week later he was invited by Claudy Siar for his radioshow Couleurs Tropicales on RFI to talk about that incident in Coutounou. But Koffi was surprisingly praising himself about the crowd who was their in that football-stadium and didn 't give any condoleance to peoples or families who were affected and finally after being insulted and attacked by many people and disappointed fans, he gave one or two weeks later his official 'excuses' and condeleance about that incident.

Wow, so I take it that Koffi's music isn't played in Benin and I don't think they fear Congolese musicians because Fally has played there in recent years. So what really happened did the lights go off or the gates were crashing or what?

i did not say they still fear man,just that on that moment they were angry because it was the biggest drama in their history about a concert and apparently they found those death and several injuries mysterious
that stadium had 5 entry gates opened but just one was opened,which also make them think it was well planned with complicity of producer

indeed also heard that change,but koffi and monsoh had not signed yet ,so i take it like most of recent albums of any artist,the producer will be koffi himself and then a partner for distribution
and apparently,monsoh is having quite some problems these days, adt yanki is the one who said it

As far as i know davido did not participate anymore,and yes apparently he paid many channels with bad cheques(according to yanki)
