Any info on the soloist Champion Kanda,where did he come from and what songs did he play solo on before joining Quartier Latin? I can't remember if it's him i read about,someone was claiming he was previously with Patrouilles des Stars or one of the Congo Brazza bands?

Hehehehehehehe SLY your observatin is what I was asking myself today. I was saying to myself while listening to Ingeta today that is this sebondo ya machine thing been made mandatoryfor all atalakus of MM or do they find it more pleasant to mix with their animation?

Sebondo seems to have quite some authority at Maison Mere, everyone has to mention his name even in private interviews. It's like if you're not in good books with him then you're out of the band so you must be seen to be loyal. Lol.

champion was in new city with fally,cambodge,djino and co then went to wenge kumbela for a moment and did mi-solo role with alvarito was the lead man,then both went to pierrette adams then at some point koffi asked to pierrette to give him champion so he moved from abidjan where they were completely settled to kinshasa
if you listen to generiques of pierrette adams in the early 2000s he was mentioned as ' champion dracula"

Thanx masta but i still wonder how and why Koffi got him,maybe Koffi was a ''follower'' of Pierrette. ;D ;D ;D
