Lola, Savanet Depitsho and Spino La Djatance were misfits in Quartier Latin, that band didn't suit them at all,the same goes for Dakumuda no wonder they all didn't stay too long. ;D ;D ;D

Sly what do mean Depticho and Lola were misfits in Quatier Latin?? And Lola stayed for a good amount of time and was supposed to be in Monde Arabe but something happened with him and Koffi and he had a short solo career.

indeed,thats spino, and what happened to mustafa is that ,this is pure masolo ya kati,jpson ruined his career through kindoki when mustafa tried to come back to latino,they were at hotel in paris when mustafa came back to negotiate his return,
they had three days off and all the guys went either looking for matolo or with women, jipson also and he wanted to avoid mustafa's return
he went to do kindoki and when he returned he first returned with food which they ate together, which made him have very strong stomach problems and the friday where koffi would come at hotel to see them he had started acting very very weird,jipson was a bit jealous of mustafa since the beginning(which is one of the reasons why he bleached a lot to try to match mustafa in terms of looks) and now that jipson had cemented that tenorist position he wanted to keep it at all costs
he tried something similar later with shella but shella was protected
similar cases of jealousy happened in both wenges aswell and almost all the groups of that generation

Aah Jipson aza esprit mabe penza... Mustapha departure affected QL alot during the tour because their chorus became bad, with Jipson and Lola Muana wanting to shine out as tenorists. You will understand me if you watch that LSC-concert of Koffi's 44 birthday when they are singing Nul n'est Parfait.
The reason that Lola left QL was because he performed with Zaiko in Bruxelles, which made Koffi very angry. So Koffi was ignoring him after their return in Kinshasa and didn't select him in the US-tour of 2003. The relation became worser when Lola claimed to be the real writer of the song Silivi.

So where is Mustafa today? And why would Koffi get mad at Lola? Were Nyoka Longo and Koffi beefing or what? And is Lola the real owner of Silvi or he wanted to create some kind of controversy. And about Europe I've always wondered what the band does when they're actually in Europe because in those 3 days Koffi gave them, they would've just ran away if they wanted to. That's a lot of trust that the leaders put in their band when their on tour in Europe or America.

mustafa is here in france in one of the other cities but is not totally normal anymore,few months ago i went to see a friend and we saw a guy who like eaten flowers fallen on the floor(autumn) and acting a bit strange i did not recognize him first since he's gone quite dark but my friend said" you dont remember him?this is a former koffi sing,mustafa,you know the guy who sang that wonderful and meaningful vocal in nul n'est parfait" he was also talking alone and he went to sit and sing but voice was nowhere near the voice he once had,i felt so bad for him, hopefully one day he'll bounce back like late babia did

How did Mustafa look, did he look unkempt or what? So after that moment he's been down ever since? And why was he out of QL in the first place? Do you know who's the guy sings right before Soleil.

guys i am talking about after academia not before,around the days of affaire d etat,if you remember there former extra musica tenorist who was unsettled by most of the guys due to being from brazza and warned by fally that there are many kindoki men among the singers
yes a bit unkempt and he's kept going down after that but apparently he is a bit better now my friend said he was even trying to record some songs but still is not up there
by the way in that generation of attentat there was a singer who was in the last but one selection of singers to become members of the group and was destroyed in similar conditions by one of the guys,today the guy is in kinshasa in a very bad condition almost died a couple of times,attack was too strong and he could not handle it at all
lola was the writter of silivi indeed but not alone its a song he got from his trips to brazza while in quartier latin then he added his touch

yeah they knew afterwards including koffi who also heard it but did not make too big a deal of it,he was used to such situation,depitcho for example was often attacked by the likes of suzuki and bouro

Suzuki maybe because his lack of dance skills but why Bouro because he is a tenorist and was also a good dancer like Depitcho.

because of popularity,bouro was THE MAN because of ndombolo and depitcho gave him some tough competition especially as he had that looks advantage,even later with fally sometimes relationship was so-so,it was not easy for bouro to accept not being THE MAN anymore

Kikiki keep dishing out these behind the scenes antics ... Aa ya, Depitcho was a threat, can even see this at Olympia '98 ... I thought fally and bouro were pals

yes bouro and fally are great pals and were already friends almost 10 years before being together in quartier latin,but when bouro returned it was strange for him seeing how fally had become very important to koffi,not that they were into an intense conflict but there was bit of jealousy which made him sometimes in concerts try to over-exaggerate things(since he already exaggerates normally lol)
perfect example of this is their concert at stade des martyrs when doing their solo dances fally climbed one of the giant speakers to dance on it,all of sudden bouro also wanted to do it( none of the other dancers did that)
there was also a scene before one of quartier latin's concerts in paris where bouro arrived and saluted everybody except fally and koffi hold his hand and told him "so today you dont great your nkana as usual?(nkana means brother in their fally and bouro's common language and they used to salute each other and talk a bit in their language)' so bouro a bit embarrassed when for the head to head salute instead of their usual "check"
