he says when they created academia there was a lot of ego war and one point which made him decide to leave is sam's idea of making the group bigger,going from 7 to 23 musicians and all the guys agreed so he felt it was not good to remain there as for example if they got 23000 dollars from a concert it would become 23K/23 instead of 23K/7
and when he left koffi heard that news and came to his house saying" oh so you left them,we must celebrate this victory" and bought champagne and he was paid something to resign a contract
then later on he left to record album with his brother alain and one day in europe he met koffi again and koffi told him he was in trouble because fally and ferre had left and mirage had disappeared

I don't know in which interview in was Lebou or Somono, but one of them said that Bouro left Quartier Latin in Brussels and joined Academia before Sam and Modogo, because he was not happy that Koffi was flirting with his girfriend of then. He would left Quartier Latin 5 years later for the same reasons but in a opposite way, with a liltle bit jealousy on side ('98 Bouro vs Savanet) ('04 Bouro vs Ipupa)
Aaaah Academia mawa. Bouro departure from Academia is the thing as a split or departure who shocked me the most after Wenge's split and that of Les Marquis.
Everyone except Lebou Kabuya and Somono complained in their interviews about recruitment of more musicians in Academia, which was a big mistake. The same Sam Tshintu said that it was Somono's idea to recruit more musicians. Bouro's departure from Academia was very strange and unexpected, there must be something mystical or another reason behind his departure. It's also very strange to hear that his dad was negotiating with Koffi his return to Quartier Latin behind his back.
What kind of band was Wenge junior? Because I heard that it was a band that theyoften performed before Wenge 4x4 came on stage, that it included future "Le Carre Magique"-band members Flamme Kapaya, Jordan Kusa,etc. and that they were supported by Werrason's wife Sylvie Mampata

Academia vraiment mawa ahhh, Wenge Junior was a band like youngsters a that time like Sakoko, Lacoste and others but it wasn't anything too serious I think

indeed wenge junior was with those guys and some others who went nowhere after,alpatchino was also there,until today i wonder how he never joined wenge 4X4 he was extremely close to nsone and even gave him many lyrics
it was more of fun group,and by the time jb and werra thouigh about a proper reserve group they all had gone elsewhere
and i also believe that sudden change of bouro when they arrived in kinshasa is not normal, manda chante leaving el paris was a bit similar

I remember an interview were Alpa said that it was a mistake for joining Nouvelle Ecrita instead of Wenge Maison Mere one year before and that he was getting more money in Vis-a-Vis with Wenge Junior than the years he stayed in Nouvelle Ecrita.
Oh yes Manda's and especially Savanet's departure from Wenge El Paris were very strange.

I think Bouro must fell out with the group members of Academia because I've his a hard person to handle I don't think Sam would be able to handle him very well even Koffi couldn't and funny thing is Sam said in an interview he was against Academia populating I think his departure must be something very very personal and hidden I don't think he would leave for the group populating if Bouro stayed in Academia I definitely he would challenge Sam to become sole president because in one concert he refused to come out with Sam, Modogo but to make his own way in the stage, that's just my thoughts.
