Title: Help with this track/ Album
Post by: Congomusiclover001 on July 29, 2015, 21:01: Looking to know who is the lead on this song and who are the two atalakus. This track is off Choc Stars et Ben Myamabo album called Ratissage. This is the generique off the album. I've had the album since 2004. If anyone is interested in the rest, I can upload it on Soundcould. I checked youtube. No video of any songs off the album and no...I don't have the CD jacket. Thanks.

The ataluku who opens and leads sounds like Mukusa ya Mbua who was with Koffi,should be him before joining Koffi.

Thanks. Yeah the whole album is fire. Too bad it didn't make a lot of noise. The rumbas left a lot to be desired, but the generique and sebenes are all on point. The drummer also played like Papy Kakol. As for the falsetto atalaku, I never heard of him on any other songs since. I don't remember Koffi having an atalaku that sounded like Mukusa ya Mbua.
