Trying to see if i can get information on some of these musicians and atalakus. Wondering what they are up to of late. If you got others not mentioned here please add them to the list.
AURLUS MABELE (One of the most prominent musicians in the 80s and 90s. Great dancer)
OCEAN EBALE/EBELE (Although quite redundant in animation (same animations in 1 million songs..lol), he had a unique voice that you could recognize on any song)
KENE KENE (Had disappeared since he attempted to go solo but didn't quite get the exposure)
YONDO SISTER (Another outstanding product of Congo. She stood out among the female singers and could dance her a*s off. Almost like watching a Mapouka clip... ;D ;D ;D)
BEBE KERO (One of the most promising young atalakus who could have been a competition to Bill if he stayed in the game)
LES CHIC MEN (The one album they produced could have been a template for what good music should be like. Wished they did another one already.)
GUY GUY FALL (Ex Extra Musica Singer who went solo, but failed to take off. Unique voice)
KILA MBONGO (Ex animateur d'Extra Musica. The song Etat Major would not be golden without him)
OLD AWILO LONGOMBA (Notice I said old because he has stopped doing the music that allowed him to capture the whole Continent of Africa. Even kids in villages in Nigeria knew who Awilo was and could dance to his music like crazy)

Guy guy fall produced an album called Ndoki zoba after he sang on viva tendences nkunzi nlele ( masterpiece) , his latest album is not like cote ouest or force d's frappe.
I also want to know where suzuki 4x4 went?
Stino I hear is producing an album.

aurlus had been seriously sick in the past recent years i think he has recovered and certainly plans something
ocean ebale aka mister "my mic is never working properly in big concerts " lol is in france with wife and kids
kene kene is in belgium working on his album then will certainly return to kin to promote it
haha your comment about yondo sister killed me,so true lol i think she is in france aswell
les chic men collapsed because of lack of support,so all of them went back to doing session work in studios
bebe kero has moved from france to germany and is starting to work on an album where he will do atalaku role and singing aswell(he is pretty good singer with a voice far from his atalaku voice)
kila mbongo is in france sometimes having concerts with durell loemba or quentin moyascko under the label "extra musica international"
suzuki works outside of music to feed his family,and saved money from it aswell to fund his album he is working on

Thanks, Archos. But at least you share my opinion of Yondo...lol. And I didn't know that about Ocean Ebale. I only saw him in Koffi's Concert. I have never seen him in any other concert. Are there videos out there of him in concerts?
Kerozene needs to hurry up and drop something. Not sure he could ever catch up with his peers but at least something from him would be nice.

after he left QL ocean participated in the album hiroshima by nouvelle ecriture with the likes of papa wemba, reddy amisi and then done a song in the album fara fara then he disappeared

I was really surprised the first time i saw the video, the guy is a very good singer just like CNN. Thank you for reminding me about Serge Muloso, time to go through his albums again.
Do you have Serge's story, was he first doing gospel,his rhumba is arranged like gospel.

yes that's his song but ferre never paid him anything which is why he sung it himself after, he is a gifted songwriter who also worked with koffi and a couple of other artists of that generation and some of the nzoto na nzoto and yes we can songs are his

mamale between france and belgium if i recall well,indeed he was in bcbg for a short period like cnn and brigade but something just did not work out,i think he was not ready to follow the group in kinshasa

Anyone knows what happened to Christian Solo? He's disappeared since leaving WMM and moving oversea. Also any news on 3615 Code Niawu (you could hear that guy just about all old music of the 90'S and early 2000.)
