Watching Africa, the black Africa the real Africa (because Arab they consider their self African just for playing African Cup) O don't understand why the major part of our Hymns are in the colonizer language in Angola my homeland is in portoguese and it bother me a lot, in fact a part that Angola is loosing a lot of traditional Kikongo, Kimbundu, Umbundu and Chokwe names, because people want to be Portuguese as hell, in fact I really like seeing Congolese music and hear lingala programs before they are more african, I would love if Angola made Kuduro, Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha in Kikongo my native language or even the other Native languages, but the point is, why in Congo the hymn is in French???? To me like Angola and other countries is ridiculous, because of our hymn is in French, Portoguese, English, Italian, how can we be Africans???
To me the DRC is the most absurd case because back in the time on the independence we had plenty of singers and musician who could make a proper African hymn for the Congo Kinshasa, but instead no it is in French.
Even though music quality after Franco, Pepe Kalle Defao Papa Wendo and King Kester departures(deaths) and Papa Wemba and others old Musician and bands slowly retiring, why we couldn't propose to artists to make a new hymn an African and proudly hymn in all 4 Congo's language Kikongo, Lingala, Swahili and Tshiluba. That would increase even more the national sense (which is a rarety in all Africa( of Congo think about 4 African lines all the time you hear the hymn, what do you think about it?
