:D :D Was just about to post this, man le monde est méchant. Karmapa and Mokowa Mbongo, though they not be strong singers, I think they the compensate adequately for their lack pure singing capabilities with many other talents.
These sort of videos in end are very demeaning to our music itself; always motema mabe. There vids all other YouTube of other artists struggling on notes live.
The only person that does and will ever do justice to Eau Bénite is Madilu.

matebu you know what,this video has been posted purely because of the brainwashing koffi did to convince people other artists are against him(eg the concept bomoko),it comes from pro-koffi people hence the comparison with koffi and none of the many other artists who sung it live( for example the page la bouche autorisee)on purpose to humiliate wazekwa
in all fairness i think first that song did not suit him,it was too high and technical,and the perfect proof of motema mabe on purpose is pretending its what got papa lutumba having an angry face,whereas in the full video papa lutumba is seen with a somewhat angry face several times,i think he was not happy about instruments,the tribute organized for him was done with poor organization and critics even said it
also wazekwa was not even meant to be there it was already scheduled with other artists while wazekwa had another concert and he basically came for a surprise,i am certain if he knew this would happen he would have just remained in the crowd

Not that it matters - The owner of the instagram account is a childhood friend of Fally and I believe is a Los Angeles based promoter. He occasionally does promo for Koffi, Djino, Fally etc.

Sly, Wazekwa is just a bad singer overall.
No, he is not a bad singer,he has songs that suit his voice and they are numerous. He would be a nobody had he been a bad singer but from an unknown student in Europe composing songs and contributing to other rising stars like Koffi,he came late on the scene and every year saw him grow big, it's not by accident. He is a good singer in his own right but he should just never attempt to sing songs which his voice is not made for especially classics like Ebale ya Zaire sang by some of the best singers in Congo, it was a big mistake choosing that song.
