If you hear all the Mbonda players in RDC from F'VICTEAM to WENGE BCBG and so on Mbonda players really do an awesome job by following the rhytm and sometimes creating their own I think about Zulu Mbonda on most of the generique of JB Mpiana hear him in Quel Est Ton Problem, the rhumba Liberez, Balle The Match, Puissance and Kindoki for saying a few of those, or even Chukuma na Mbonda of Bill Clinton in Fukushima's Album and J'AFRO'ZZ leeader in Ngoma, you hear all this mbonda players who plays with flow and pace to the song adding their own, but Ali Mbonda from sometimes doesn't really brings nothing he just do the same pathetic rhytm, he started great in his Wenge Musica 4x4 and Wenge MMM first days, but then from Temoignage Album until now in Fleche Ingeta the pace is always tu-tu, tu-tu, tu-tu, tu-tu, tu-tu-tu and to me is annoying because even if is not the main instrument like guitar a bad mbonda player can ruin a song at his peek

I think what has changed is the overall arrangement of the generiques and sebene in Wenge Maison Mere, they are too fast and dominated by the drums and guitars, the Congas are silenced and left for small parts. In rhumbas and other songs with subtle sebene you can hear Ali Mbonda well for instance on his own composition Caresse from the album Temps Present,his congas were audible enough however on most Maison Mere songs you can only hear the congas if you're using headphones .
