The song earned Franco, Simaro and few OK members a lengthy prison sentence that was cut to two months after massive protests. Franco had such a stronghold on the social sphere in, then Zaïre.
Most songs, especially the ones with messages, had everyone in discussion. I doubt another Congolese artist will be to have the same social influence on matters like Franco.

"Attention Na Sida", released in 1987, ironically has a very similar chorus and sax structure as Jackie.
I just realized the chorus and structure of this song was used in one of Madilu's last songs Aminata (2007). Not nearly as obscene.

Some people said that Leon Kengo wa Ndondo saw this song as an occasion to put him in jail, after a quarrel between him and Franco about a girl. Franco reacted 3 years later strongly against Kengo with the song Mokolo Tonga, when Kengo was fired as Attorney General. And later also with Double Nationalite.
