Somehow i dont like the new structure of balads that koffi is producing since BEK....no melody just autotune. I hope ferre will feature in a song like correction of JB.

All you guys need to get your facts right before accusing Ferre who has done nothing wrong here but put mr mopao in his place. This version is the one Koffi decided out of greediness to change and remove all of Ferre mabanga. Jdog ofcourse Ferre will be on the plane if it was jay as they would have signed a contract and Ferre would havebeen paid. I read lots of comments on this forum and do wonder how some of you guys who live in thr wstern world still come out with so much rubbish. Ferre agreed to sing on Koffi song as congolease music goes, I sing on your song you give me some space for mabanga and we move on but not mr mopao and if you go back you will see hecame on tvquickly after removing all ofFerre mabanga to play the victim and how lots of you guys fall for this is funny. Well done Le Padre you sing you heart out and always appear on others video on this one I applaud you for standing your ground otherwise the same people critising you wouod have called you a weakman

Pole Pistion, this is why it is called a forum. You do not have to throw words around and be unnecessarily personal in your comment. If you have got a contrary fact/view/info about what others have said about a particular artiste,you say it. We are all here to learn from one another.

Toolz, I did not throw words around but I have noticed that on this forum anything to do with Ferre is taken to a different context. As you can see from the comments, Ferre this, Ferre that, not even a mention on how good he sung on this song so I will be here to defend this great artist until he get the respect he deserves.
Ferre kindly went and helped his Father (because Koffi is old enough to be his dad) and recorded this with all his heart but then to be let down by this person for greed but no, people are only judging him because he is not on the video is laughable so me and others (if any) on this forum will be here to correct people who want to put him down because I know the guy and I am very close to his entourage like mon vieux JP Mimndia, Sita Mussanpay etc will tell you this guy will do anything to help you if you are strugling but will not go on about it cause he has that wenge blood in him.

I think I get your point now.Still,you do not have to get unnecessarily personal. Like you have said now: you are close to Ferre. You can come out to pleasantly defend him whenever you see people talking him down.You give us what you know about him and his works and I feel that would be just fine. Even questions can be directed at you about him( Ferre).I do not think any other artiste has ever recieved proper bashing and dress down like JB Mpiana has got on this forum. I'm sure his fans are also here too but they won't draw daggers. We are all fans of Congolese Music and artistes. Please, calm down. There is no point being disagreeable over mere comments from fellow forum members.
Lastly,please can you translate that statement/proverb you wrote in Lingala? Not everyone here speaks or understands Lingala. Thanks

Hi pole pistion , i'm a ferre fan too , i try since i'm in this forum to defend him when people are unfair to him , but with time i see that in this forum and in the afro community in general people don't want to see the true but prefert stick to their opinion of ferre so i stop respond to them and instead focus promote La musique de Ferre.

Ferre gola is better in a colaboration or group singing like in this song except the rythm is destroyed by autotune. Include ferre in vita imana.....or even a song like NickyD and you get results. Not this nice song destroyed by autotune.

Maybe you should try applying for a job as his Artistic Director however you would struggle since you say there is autotune on this song when in actual fact there isn't unless i missed it somewhere in the vocals.........in short,if Ferre sang shit music or what he has been doing the last 10 years isn't what suits him then he would have been like Adjani, Baby Ndombe, Serge Mabiala and many others from the original Wenge Musica Maison Mere who have literally gone into oblivion. As it stands, Ferre Gola is satisfying his fans and he is actually bigger as an artist than even some of the founders of the original Wenge Musica BCBG 4X4 band who have also gone into oblivion so bwana, know that Ferre Gola isn't stupid, he knows that his formula works, there is no other singer who sings like him,they try to but he is a cut above the rest.

I would really like to know what Cindy's role is. Is she Koffi's legal wife or just a side piece? Her presence in QL and in videos is quite overwhelming. I get it, she has something we all (mostly men here) don't have, but I think somehow she brought down Koffi and QL's popularity.
On another note: This forum gets volatile real quickly when Ferre is mentioned. I would like to say that Ferre is is a good singer and does wonderful things with his team, however, people here have choices and they will continue to defend their choices. One thing we should all be proud of is that Congo has produced some of the most popular and enjoyable music and musicians on the continent of Africa and in the world. That fact will never be buried. From the Francos to the Wenges and to the new generation Congo Music will always fly high. That is something to be happy about.
