The build up and promotion of this concert, beginning in '98 remains the biggest of any African concert if I'm not mistaken. This is the one concert I still regret not making an effort to attend, though I was able go to his first Zenith, which was excellent.
The live version of Attentat 49:34 is one of the best live performances of a generique.
Champion esthetique and CNN really played their hearts out

What really impressed me is how they did it with so much guys having their first main europe event,efandjo,jipson,jordan,lola,cnn,mustapha,i think ocean did not go to europe with el paris hence the switch to latino
to think it could have been genta instead of ocean,what a lethal combo it would have been

What a good concert, Koffi the first ever Afican artist to play there. Never seen Erjc Tutsi dance before. Ocean dissappeared, Champion was hammering the drums. CNN was good as always. Hopefully Fally gets to do his own Bercy concert soon.

But I sense the french authorities will finally act strongly towards the combatants since some of their tactics equate to terrorism. The unfortunate recent events has a become a game changer, so no more free passes to disrupt the peace.
It's also up to the Congolese music representatives to report the activities and name some of the heads of the combattants to the authorities before deeming it okay to make concert arrangements. If it weren't for the disunity of the artists, this combattant issue would've been resolved long ago.

i have heard that roga roga was also invited to this concert.. i have never watched this concert entirely... dont get me bad but i always feel bored watching this concert i don't know why . even right now , i could even go up to 15 minutes. maybe because i'm so wengelised (concert wise)lol

I don't care what anyone says this is Koffi's best concert of all time and the best african concert he had a great team here even though I feel like he should have brought babia, do akongo and beniko as well my dad went to this concert koffi should have added more footage in the vhs or released it in two parts pfff

Yes, the two big criticisms with the post production of this concert was the short footage relative to the length of the concert and only relasing it in VHS when DVD was already starting to become popular. The CD however was masterful produced.
