Jb disease is communicable. Even Abraham is taking ages to release. I hope his cd will be good so he leaves room for others. One other artist i like is nono fuji. He is the future of this band.

actually its older than balle de match he started it when taty passed away and they had to do impro and now he developed it and used it in double jeu of ficarre in which he is the lead singer

It's amazing to see how Abram has transformed from a mere dancer, average singer and now very good singer.

Maybe you really need to get to research more into how Congolese musicians work,issues of sponsorship and how their music is structured,maybe then you will understand just how difficult it is. Even Deplik has taken long and now we hear he has legal issues and is in court with his producer so should we be saying he has a disease too.

yes sly like you rightfully said,albums of a good quality require at least 60K dollars and even with all the matolo and selling songs money they still have loads of kid to take care off,their look to take care of and so on
a guy like jb for example has easily 50 people within a week among journalists,comedians,footballers of national level and so on who come to him with problems of thousands of dollars
no wonder there has been two really great spells in congolese music, the "verckys" era if we can call it like that along with many other congolese producers( londala,ngoyarto and co) then the era of jps,monsoh and co when artists just had to come record and perform (and were even gaining ngulu money)

Indeed, there only a handful of producers now in Congo and that's why musicians are having to rely on foreign producers who don't understand the market at all,this is one reason why Alain and Bouro's Mortel Combat failed to hit it big despite it being an excellent album. The foreign producers have other priorities.

Sly, do you think JB and/or Abraham are facing more of these problems than other musicians and that is why their albums are taking longer than necessary?. I was thinking they should not use this as an excuse because all other artists face the same challenges but still release consistently!! Abraham can claim he is new in the solo album terrain and is still looking for sponsors. Let him be aggressive since Fabregas has already led the way producing relatively quality albums in a short span of going solo. He can borrow a leaf from Fabregas' hustle......just a thought.

and there was songi songi that abraham would leave from the second album is out or even before release so jb denied him europe moves to record for a good while
he will be coming here very soon with his best friend fudji who still had not participated to album and is still waiting for bill and fally for feats
you know why fabregas releases fast?its pretty simple,outside the mabanga and selling songs money he already makes sure he has enough funds to go at least halfway through album before starting programing songs,koffi helps him a lot as well as koffi's donors

yeah and kibens,whenever a singer atalaku or guitarist joins the group he is given to kibens to train him following his potential,one other example of transformation through kibens is djino who arrived as an out and out tenor who used all the power of his voice and went out of the group almost as a rio type of tenor,of course with jb's direction aswell but more on a long term basis
it"s kibens who rules the group artistically day in day out

Nice work I remember Abraham mignon in the days of Quel Est Ton Probleme and now Huuuuuge difference, thay he was singing kinda reminded the capucino style forcing your voice.
