With the attendance of 'Djo Sex' Josky. What an equipe of singers, dancers, and atalakous. Koffi knew well in advance that Loi would be a hit with all the teasers and repetition VHS released before Dec. '97.
I always found it interesting how Koffi had Babia (RIP) sing his lead vocals during repetitions.
My brother, a friend of Sam Tshintu, was also in attendance.

R.I.P. Babia, I was schocked when I found out that he was still in QL all those years but never was in albums or tours until Abracadabra( supposedly his vocals in BEK didn't go through).

When Koffi was a serious musician and not a teenager let his lover leading his orchestra

I wonder where keyboard-player Ondomema Motema is nowadays. He was alongside Alpha Kopeya, Theo Bidens, Modeste Modikilo, Jose Piano Piano and Nzenze Mongeno one of my favorite keyboard-players. The last time that I heard about him was when he joined Savanet Depitcho, J.F. Ifonge, Cesar Loboko and rhythm player Deba O'neill to create AGB Quartier Latin after Bercy.

Agree, however, Babia had his pervasive drug addiction problem, which had gotten him in serious trouble in the Magie-V12 period. Following that Koffi gradually began to demote him and have replacements ready even though he remained loyal to QL.
It was risk management on the part of Koffi, which something he's done in all phases of his career, in order to not be let down by musician(s).

Noticed that each group usually has a talented druggie?

But I believe Mopao should have helped him....maybe put him in a rehab or something. For I think his descent started after he had done the fence. His last days must have been filled with so much misery. He was such a great talent . I always feel pity for him. He should be held responsible for his actions and inactions but I feel he should have been helped still.
Yes, I quite understand the risk management stuff, artists can put anybody in jeopardy especially the indisciplined ones.
Bouro is another person whose case is worrisome...for me.
