Today i was watching the video of Je ne te calcule pas, and after a month, the views are still less then 190k, and I know we all know is not for the music or the video. Is one of the best conceptual video ever and has a great sòn (sound) with Tolbert and Fusèe. It is to blame Roger Ngandu which doesn't make a proper promotion, or the label of JB Mpiana who does not a good job?
-
All useless....still stuck in the past, that's the problem with JB and his team mind frame
-
kiekiekie JV you always kill me with ur comments, mampenza to be honest with you they released that maxi single purely and simply so that people give them a bit of break, they even portray it like the generiques have been "pirated" by one dj in a nightclub where bcbg always try their generiques before release then he gave it to other dj's, so its like not something they really planned and wanted seriously roger barely mentions it on tv only mosaka does a bit of effort, and like JV rightly pointed, nowadays you can never ever ever have a hit without some proper promotion on social network,no way
they say their target is balle de match, but lets be realistic, its very likely that it ends up like soyons serieux, a good album overall, an excellent debut of promotion with a proper producer then the kin promotion killing it all because of that arrogance of roger who keeps repeating jb does not care about what others do and jb is not in competition with any artist and stuff like that,to cover for his own laziness in his 5 or 6 roles next to jb
-
Well summed up archos!! As Director of Marketing, it is Roger's job to come up with a business strategy for the band,he should be the one advising JB on what needs to be done.

Yes, it is like that no Group Album in 5 years and the main generique of the upcoming Album Balle De Match with no video.

They are doing an awful job, because if Balle de Match, will come, people will already know the generique, kin guys will already know the rumbas so it's gonna be a worthless effort, like in Soyòns Seriùx as you said is a good album overall, to me it is excellent, but strangely not a lot of people outside of Congo and Africa did know about the existence of it

The answer it is one, simple and straight: ROGER NGANDU NEEDS TO GO!!!!! He needs to leave the promotion of Wenge BCBG Material, ateka makayabu na mwa lipa na safu, but leave BCBG's promotion.
Previously we asked ourselves why some of the ex members of BCBG have not the same good solo careers that WMMM has, it is for the simple fact, that no one teached them how to promote their material, and this is why you see Chai and Djino not having a lot of fan base to release a great album in the way of being known
-
another massive but really massive mistake is that they have not finished and promoted clips of the maxi single they have not even finished doing clip of correction,jb trusts roger and also sees and thinks he can afford it and it never throws it into complete oblivion anyway so it keeps going like that, even the clip of je ne te calcule pas had to be finished in a bit of hurry because people were complaining too much
when we think back at it,jb could very easily have made the 5 years without not noticeable just with a proper marketing
i suggested to roger in person that the group does clip of engobo and the two other generiques or even if possible they remix it with that hard hitting ndiaye drums sound because it was not poor in itself all he did was laughing and saying jb does not need to do intensive promotion and challenged me that even if they took years again people would still be expecting from them which means jb is too powerful
even the initial 10 years with primus generique done in ndiaye with jp kys' own settings would have helped with a good clip
and instead they just did that other primus generique where they look clearly disinterested and doing it just because its the contract

The problem is JB fans and then JB; the latter is to laid back and it reflects on his entire crew, the former just need to stop kissing up to Bin Adam and check him like they do with other top dawgs. Don't "Cindy" Roger Ngandu or any of the Mkulis ;D
-
Archos next time you call Roger say to him abanda ko teka makayabu na Mbuji Mayi, to na Kivu and tell him Mampenza said it. I mean he is destroying one of the few complete artist left in Congo, how he can be so arrogant, I mean does he know that people like Fally, people like Fèrre exists? And they are taking over? This is why Nigeria and Ghana are getting a lot of milions stealing DRC Melodies and DRC beats, absence of marketing

ahahahahahah Djino were doing it to Koffi, and it didn't work

JB frustrates me soo much..kaka kovandisa libumu ndunda na ndaku nde ayebi.....the guy promotes his fat yohji yamamoto clothes than his own songs, as if yohji yamamoto even pays him.....useless leader

Ahahahah Mama Leader Pomba espriit ezui yo?? lol. My God yes it is exactly like that People knows Yohji Yamamoto, but got no Idea of JB Mpiana songs

jb needs to adapt to the current context, his way of dealing with his career was working when there was the former big 4 plus kester, then when wazekwa fally and ferre stepped into big stage, now there are too much solo talent and fans expectations are extremely higher everyday because of that in order to stay "succesful"
but i keep repeating nothing will change if there are no revolutionary guys around, there is mosaka who can do something but he fears for his place in the group so he limits himself to that role of the guy who basically contributes with proverbs, animation and songs then do what roger is not bothered to do or just "complement" what roger says before him
caludji keeps telling me and other friends he really is tempted to go back "home" at least to get himself a bit of buzz back in kin and to change a lot of things in the way the group is ruled, hopefully he does it
and like JV pointed, the bad gestion of the group and himself turns people's attention on things he had always been doing, dressing expensive and living in the night only unless he has money to make in daylight so it,so all frustration for his bad gestion is thrown at it
he has everything to be maybe the best but his own character and his environment are letting him down
-

Yep you and JV said it right, I think that another problem of JB is that he is really good and caring about the people he likes, even though the example of Mboka Liya shows how he can be bad if he doesn't like somebody.
But from the point of view of the good heart of JB he trust too much people who are bad for him and his environment is like 12 years that he is making great songs on his albums but do not have much credit, ok he has his loyal fanbase who will never leave him no matter waht, but Robinio, Kabosè guys who came 20 years leater on the solo career now are ahead, and I don't know how Roger can live with this.

My frustration curve for bcbg has been curving towards the x axis while now yours is going up the y axis. The change in my username is clear testimony that all is not well in bcbg. You all guys can target Roger Ngandu but the bigger problem is that bcbg has never evolved much over the years. The band structure has never changed with only few defections especially with singers. Look here, you have genta now who has been around since 1998...Jules kibense and Rio too and probably trabendo jd loko. Ficarre Mwamba even worse since he was in wenge musica 4x4. Now what can change in the band? As with artists not making it when they go solo its because proper talented artists like nono Fuji take 10 years to be integrated in the main band so who is going to know them? And when they finally join main band they mix with bums like Rio and kibense. Look at koffi. That team of fally....solei....mputu....gypson...mondongo....bouro etc, was no joke just like werras bill Clinton....ferre gola team. Fans and people are interested in boys that shine. If they leave people will notice them instantly.
-
spot on emo,but roger and jb have blame to take for not making effort to make the group attractive, believe me as charismatic as were the former maison mere and quartier latin guys, their leaders spent a lot of money and energy to make a proper promotion of them
if you look at the groups in that new configuration of congolese music especially the groups of young artists recently gone solo you'll see that their group do not lack many guys with potential to be stars, but why dont we really notice them?either they are with a leader who is not too popular yet either they are with a leader who does not have enough funds to take his group to next stage, perfect example of that is kabose
-
Archos we both correct. Add yours and mine and that's the answer....

I don't think the problem it is about leaving, a lot of guys who are there from a long time like Zakoko, like Genta and so on are good, and as you see in Maison Mère leaving the orchestra by some of the old members will not lift your team up (Hèritier, Cap Lbg, and in the past Kapaya or Kimbangu) the problem is that wrong people are in the wrong places. Furthermore lazyness it is too much around this orchestra, Balle de Match should be out like for Valentine and we are on April???
If JB changes marketing strategy and start to be more consistent with the production of the album he will be the star that we all waiting for

Mampeza.....i know bcbg problems too well. What I have said is too true and shouldn't be validated. Jb will never change the color of his band until he roots out the long reigning friends.

The problem is one Roger Ngandu, I can understand this view on guys like Kibens, Rio or Seguin, but honestly in the last years when Tutu Caludji left if it wasn't for Genta ba generique piaka na piaka, some of the old guys are good some of them aren't but the main problem is one.

Roger does not make segiun....kibense.....jdl......segiun etc any worse or better. In what way?

My point is that as you said some old elements really need to go, like Kibense, Seguin and so on needs to go but other guys like Fi-Carrè or Abraham, Zakoko and so on needs to stay, my point is that the problem of BCBG is marketing, and previously in the group I think Archos, said that Roger Ngandu is almost blocking the promotion of je ne te calcule pas, and I don't think it is JB or the guy around him said to Roger to act like this, another example always speaking about Roger, is Fusèe, Fusèe is on his 7th year in BCBG and partecipated in 2 albums in 7th years, he had a really small part on Kiyunguzuna while he needed to be more space, and now he is one of the best atalaku, Genta said that if he wasn't for him we probably wouldn't know Fusèe as we know now, and there are a lot of guys in the same position Fusèe was thanks to who? Roger Ngandu. END.
Seguin needs to go Kibens needs to go Rio needs to follow but those guys aren't the main problem of Wenge

You are forgetting one rule in marketing. Never promote a mediocre product. Either improve it or discard it for a better one. To some extent I think Roger feels like lazy to promote those bums like Rio. They have overstayed man!!!

Yes, and I saw that he is becoming even fatter, but I don't think they will never go, because they are like co-leaders to JB's eyes, but things needs to change anyway, as a WMMM fan I say that BCBG is one of the best orchestra in Congo, but changes needs to happen, I dream of a Wenge led by Fusèe, Tolbert and Metro in future

out of all the old bums the only one that doesn't bother me is JDL because he does try he's the only one I don't mind but the others naaaa its unreal how long they've stayed its not 2000 anymore for god sake we want change!

When fans are tired, they are really. I feel pity for Jb and his old bums because one day they will be stoned with beer bottles it will be out of hand. Watch this space.

Ahah I don't think he never will is too much respected, maybe JDL and co. will be bowed and will be stoned with bottles like it happened to Cellulaire, but I hope that the album will not fail the expectations

To me is not the change of the old guys, but the guys who lost their talent on the way, like Rio, and Kibens, Kibens should stay for teaching youngsters how to sing properly like he didi with Abraham, but he is taking away young guys's spot
