in short he says he used to be a footballer  but his passion for music was too big and he played in some street groups and at some point was more into reggae, then when he moved to  europe he wrote songs for most of  the greatest artists alive at the time but does not want to mention who because back then he gave promise it would be kept secret so he respects his promise and wazekwa motivated him to start studio to record his own songs but it was not very easy because  him and wazekwa are from matete and the donors were focused more into making wazekwa succeed as he started almost a decade earlier, and he says his first album was a big hit and he wont album of the year, song of the year, revelation of the year and went to koras with first album but he is not a guy who would go too talkative because of that
his new album will be out if all goes well in may at the moment he is into clips and he says congolese music has become monotonous and journalist mentions the fact all play tchatcho and he says  he does not believe its tchatcho for everybody he has a lot of respect for koffi but he rather thinks curent music has its roots in rochereau's style and defines his music as a mix of franco's style of writing and rochereau's arrangement style and says most artists of today are  of that style but there are exception like ferre who is a wonderful singer having more of an odemba influence
he is asked about tatiana and what does he think about her going solo and he says honestly he would have loved to keep her a bit more because he had plans for her,but she came to him and told him she wants to go solo and he told her to go ahead
he is asked if  like werra about heritier he did not want  to skip that question and he says no, he has no hard feelings towards tatiana she is a great singer and may  God bless her for her career he listened to her single and she did  great

aza na raison. That style Philipe Guez created for Koffi on Fouta Djallon and what people are calling nowadays Tcha-Tcho, was already played by Tabu Ley in the 70's. The real Tcha-Tcho, which Koffi is not playing anymore is to find on Spaghetti, Mannequin, Bokilo To Suki Wapi, Tcha-Tcho du Sorcier, Kot Kot & Petit Frere ya Yezu. Ask it Do Akongo, Manu Lima or Rigo Star. They will say that i'm right.

Hope to hear more male vocalists on the album,in some way it's a blessing in disguise that Tatiana has gone coz she was becoming like Cindy with her voice on all songs. ;D
