Congolese Music / Re: WERRASON: BILL CLINTON V JAMAIQUE

In my opinion Werra did the right thing, WMMM is a jungle and the supported animals should be the current team. To boost them and give them confidence, however I agree that complacency without one memorable crie is embarrassing. I do like the Fungola likolo animation though.

The worst thing is that I actually think pushing Cindy , was the right move because she is so so talented. But at this point forcing her to be a musician in the Koffi style has damaged her career so much already, had he or if he decided to surround her with a team that let her develop her own style and sound, she could’ve been a legend in her own right

I like the second half of the generique after the 3rd minute. The first half felt very Wazekwa (which everyone knows I’m not a fan of his Generiques), Gessac doing the kolo cries which was in abracadabra so I’m assuming it was his crie and then they still used it after he left Latino. Overall decent generique tho
Exactly this bro CM I feel the exact same I love the second half, who is the second atalaku?

I’m really looking forward to this

The same thing as I expected, nice cries and nice partitions all jumbled together and thrown on the same track with no order , structure or dance ability. He reminds me of like England 2006/08 golden generation every generique he has the right pieces and manages to NEVER make it work, he hasn’t had a good generique since wosso 2021.

I listened to likemba from ibrators last album and it is farrrr better. Zukataku from Marie Paul again is wayyyyy better.

Heritier sort it out.

Congolese Music / Re: Les Evangiles générique out tomorrow

I had a look on the website and there’s alot of tickets not sold so that’s probably why

Tried to have a look at the credits and I couldn’t see his name but the credits seem incomplete and I couldn’t tell from the voice.
But then relistened to the album and it made me really sad.
2013-16 when Fabregas Robinio Heritier went solo and broke out , the genre looked so safe with a healthy mix of danceable music and good rumba.
10 years later they have all gone BACKWARDS and the genre is in disrepair.

Could someone translate please , thanks

Congolese Music / Re: FERRE GOLA LIVE IN ACCOR ARENA
« on: April 05, 2026, 21:25 »
Just finished watching it, it seems like it was a good concert. Nothing more nothing less. Not crazy memorable, good moments like celeo coming out also for the younger crowd Shakalewa and Chily. I think Ferre was almost too relaxed both in singing and dancing he could’ve made it a real spectacle and he did not. Good if you were there but I don’t think I will watch it again. Compared to the one at Limete a few months ago, it really did need Prince or muana Congo .

Is it a generique?
It’s one of those heavy synth keyboard , gimmick dance viral songs. Idk if I would call it a generate but it’s one of those. I personally hate it and hope he returns to real music

Congolese Music / Re: Bercy Muana at Maison Mere Rehearsal

Watched it twice on both the Jamaique day and the Wasabo day. I will give my points.
1. The talent of Bercy is up there with the best of Atalakus in history, he reminds me of a Robinho kind of player or balotelli. Great moments and the ability of the best but it never came together because of mentality and choices. His voice is great, his ability to make people dance , his antics it is all top level and he showed he still has the ability.
2. Wasabo, I’ll be honest I thought he spoke too much didn’t have great flow and was just loud. But Werra is the grand formateur for a reason not me lool, that boy has talent and it’s coming to the forefront, he is creative, he has developed his danceability of his Crie’s, he’s got a fire in him, some antics there a good fan favourite. (Forgive the spelling) but the crie tshi muane, the ahhh ohhhh part with the dance, the muana telema and keba na Werra parts were all top class ,very creative catchy and he wasn’t scared of bercy at all.
3. Jamaique has the voice, he’s even good, but he’s just not THAT level in terms of creativity and hype he’s just not getting me off my chair he can be number 2 behind wasabo who I think is passing him
4. I think Werra is cooking up a great thing here by using this to get the hype going the views are very good, even Pape noir the new guy who tested I think is even better than both, we could see some fire generique

I’m gonna give a proper opinion and think piece but his battle with Wasabo was AMAZING, I loved it. Werra is really trynna keep this ALIVE.

Congolese Music / Re: WERRASON LIVE IN BRUSSELS IN JULY
« on: March 03, 2026, 16:38 »
I have a theory. Everyone should usually release an album and then announce concerts or the two done closely together in whatever order. But because Fally announced a concert and hasn’t yet released album, everyone is scared to release and he then releases and their album is drowned out. But they forget Fally is the only one that can announce a concert and sell out without a new album there. They need to focus on their new albums making people want to come. (Werra, Heritier and Co) I am hesitant to put Ferre alongside them but maybe him too. I have seen too many concert announcements and NO NEW ALBUMS.
Has everyone suddenly forgotten that Fally is releasing his album before his concert? The cd is part of the ticket pre order package.
Also tbh no one needs to release albums before concerts because people attend to listen to old songs nowadays and not new ones. Koffi released a new album before ING arena and did people request for him to play any of his new music? No only his old ones, same with Werra.
CM You are correct here, in the Fally will release before but Werra, Ferre and Heritier all said the same. But with Fally people don’t care about a good or bad album they’ll attend regardless. With Werra his Adidas arena wasn’t full (I was there) compared to his grand arena Paris (I also attended) where nostalgia carried, he needs Morote to at least be decent because nobody is going 3 years in a row for the same show to fill out. Koffi is actually just finished hence why the case is a little different.
