Out on November 26th
Didnt he say in a interview two weeks ago that only 2-3 songs are finish? Why does he put a cindy song on a QL Album. She didnt promote her own album.
Congolese artists are known to record albums fairly quickly, because they spend months prior teasing new vocals and guitar partitions either at rehearsals or concerts. By the time they arrive in Europe, they've got more than enough material for an album.
If I'm not mistaken, albums like Loi, Sanction, and Miracles required less than a month to record and mix.
god damn loi took less month to record and mix thats crazy

i would agree its a combination of what u said a classic cant have any skips it gotta be perfect from beginning to end like Kin E Bouge or V12 and bonus points if it aged well over time for me its not a must theres plenty of albums that i love but might not have aged well over time, i wouldnt say danger de mort is classic cause the last five tracks feel like filler and arent really strong like the first 6 songs

make all the sense in the world the music industry is getting oversaturated there for music will lose its value and not be worth as much theres not alot of money in streaming for ex snoop dogg had a billion streams on one song and he only got 45 thousand from spotify which is crazy so even if koffi old songs starts to stream like crazy it wont mean much and artist have to make money somehow so i get it sell while the value is high

is koffi "finished" or a legend delying his retirement theres a difference hes a what we call OG status,Pioneer,Veteran hes not competing with nobody mainly cuz of his age so now hes just want to perform and have fun thats it hes stevie wonder status where is kinda hard to tell a legend thats been performing since the 70s to stop. i dont think theres any shame of having "nothing new to offer" when hes had an excellent career for 80s-00s thats 3decades worth of greatness
