Congolese Music / Re: Burna Boy being the first African artist to sell a stadium out in U.K.« on: August 20, 2024, 17:01 »There are about 2,000,000 (2 million) Nigerian diasporas in the UK, and about 500,000 (half a million) in USA. So I'm not surprised to see one of their artist fill in a big concert hall in the UK or USA. Congolese music is popular and more entertaining because of the use of live band with professional musicians. However, the combatants have caused a lot of problems to Congolese artist who were to perfom in Europe. There are only about 1.6 million Africans in the UK. 5

Great show. Minor quibble, less Tokoos, more old school rhumba & sebene. But still, I like the Tokoos stuff.

What do these guys left in London do? Look for a job in London? Most likely a menial job? Is that better than being in Werrason's band?
What is Cafe Roum & Makaba doing in London? 10

New account, lost the old one. Hello everyone.
Does anyone know whether Werrason is making an appearance/ playing anywhere during his visit in London? I note he has come to sort of agreement with the combatants.
