I didn't knew that Didier Oasis was that tall eh. Mutombo Dikemba akosa. Gemerose looks like a student here. I wouldn't have recoginzed him if Blaise Bula didn't mention is name. Did Titi Kongolo made it on the Europe-list ? Faut sentir aspect, atie na kerly. I never knew who Dider Six was, but was often hearing his name. It's only now that I discovered that he came from Ponderation 8. He's a great dancer

So sad that Himalaya, Willy Star and Reagan passed away. Reagan's aunt was really evil by bringing him to Koffi, only to be dumped a few months later, because Koffi prefering Kerozene above him.

Doudou Nkunku was a good journalist. So sad that almost their generation left to settle in Europe. In some Western countries you would see them upgrade by becoming a director and coaching the young generation. Now we are left with journalists on tv that just ask questions like "who's the number one artist in Congo right know ?" and creating polemic.

The image of Werra-fans singing at FIKIN about Blaise Bula being better than JB, reminds me of an image when Desi Mbwese was performing at FIKIN in 2001 and the same fans singing that he's better than JB. Back at that era, when what ever artist would perform the same day as JB or Werra at FIKIN, both fans would scream about being either better than JB or Werra

Like Defao said in Fogy "Type K aleki nioso". Back at that time many artists were hyping Jose Kongolo's nightclub Type K up in concerts. Someone needs to create a documentary about to nightclubs and restaurants within in the Congolese diaspora in Paris and Brussels from 1980s till the 2000s. Dalida is so lucky that Dadju became a known artist. Many women of her time are unhappy, broke, sick or/and became a sister in christ

One Question: what did dalida do to get so many shoutouts in 90-00 tracks. A lot of tracks you would hear already dalida mama ya dadju mentioned.

He says his album is ready but he was waiting for somebody who is ferre without naming him and that now that ferre released poster and tracklist he'll just wait for release date so that he can be on ferre's back and battle with him

Lol. Thats the case, when your life is boring and you do not have a purpose in life.

Koffi doesn't have 816 songs. Songs in group albums should not count, I know Koffi with his greed would include group album songs (like he's put every single Quartier Latin member's songs as his in SACEM). Even in his solo albums, he's lying about the fact thst he wrote them all. My elder Eldorado, Do Akongo, Wazekwa, Bourman Idolo, Vigas, Djodjo Lina are the minds behind many of those songs (even though Koffi in his own right is a great songwriter). Koffi is someone that needs to ridden off our music because aside his talent, he represent corruption.

Thats very mean. Koffi is wrong but thats the system. From Back in the days til now Fally/Ferre…
Even in america does it happen…

@afriradiodrc

Songwriter Vigas claims to be person who introduced the style of fast singing in Congolese Rumba. I am trying to find the full interview on youtube, but I can't find it anywhere

But didnt Koffi already doing before or did he write for Koffi too? Maybe some other singers did it too but just Koffi came to my mind

9
Why is fally trying to save money on his music clips. Both are nothing special…

I hope it will work. People need to respect koffi again.

There’s two clips that’s available on YouTube which is Tsiane and Willy Bula’s song Ma Fille. My question is was there a VHS of the album with the other clips? Because 20 years ago I was at someone’s house and I saw a VHS of Koffi’s and it was the same cover as the cd of Pas De Faux Pas but I never asked to actually see the tape so I don’t know if it was actually the clips or it could’ve been a concert, till now I regret not asking to watch the tape smh.

Good Question. I know that there is a video of the generique, too. We had VHS were only ma fille and pas de faux pas was recorded.

I can’t lie I think the lineup at ING Arena was better than this. Where was JR 33? Where was the likes of Somono Suzuki etc. Bouro Mpela was meant to appear he even rehearsed with them. Also I didn’t like when they were singing Detresse the camera wasn’t showing a close up of the singers faces so it was hard to know who they were.

Who‘s again JR33? Its the one he sang embouteillage, right? I hope he is not out of the group

because this is the mentality that nobody has decided to fight against, and its even worse with stadiums,if you perform in stadiums you have to have both the stands and the pitch full to extent that people can barely breathe
for koffi's concert  if people are honest  he did not abandon his tradition of handleing spicy questions knowing it will make headlines, saw him have a different approach insisting more on celebration than crowd and all that, but it still lied under that logic,it was koffi's birthday party/slight probable last major sendout but people are mocking mpiaka while in reality its partly themselves who refused to turn up because he gets on their nerves about fally or about ferre  and stuff like that
you could see for example comedian hans luzolo who was invited by koffi there and associated to promotion of the event but still found no shame at all in shaming koffi indirectly with a skit about people  not listening and still wanting to do big things when age is not on their side
no wonder quartier latin is the only group more or less consistent in celebrating anniversaries,we dont have that culture of celebrating people for the sake of celebrating koffi was lucky that in the last major latino anniversary people had lost interest in fikin concerts otherwise people would have asked for those mad crowds of prime ndombolo era where you struggle to see where the crowd even ends

Thanks for the explanation! Appericiate.  We need to change this behavior. I will watch the concert on the weekend but i won‘t expect a stade de france quality. Its the same that won‘t expect a Travis Scott show at a Nas concert
