Congolese Music / Re: Is it possible to erase threads and reactions on this forum« on: July 10, 2026, 12:03 »Is it possible on Congovibes to delete your account, have your reactions and threads erased and then start a new one? I'm seriously fed up seeing every day articles on instagram being written based on my replies and the threads I've created over the past 10 years on this forum. I don't mind people writing articles based on my words, but it's not acceptable to copy posts without properly citing the original source. I had the desire to post articles about albums and events that are hitting 20 and 25 years, but I lost the joy and passion to do it.Who and what are the name of the pages that keep copying your comments? Name and shame them because they can get reported for plagiarism. I often see the Insta-page World Music 243 doing such things. A few months ago I saw an Instagram-post about JB’s song Hi-Ho-Ha, and I looked in the description and directly recognised @Mfumu Vata clarification about the album “Les Anges Adorables” without crediting @Mfumu Vata or even Congovibes sadly. ![]() 3

Congolese Music / Re: Mr. la Rumba interviewing Djudjuchet Luvengoka« on: May 19, 2026, 21:36 »I will not write it here otherwise people will use my long questions as information to write articles for their instagram-pages to get alot of likes and reactions without crediting Congovibes as source In the last month, I saw an Instagram-post about JB’s song Hi-Ho-Ha, and I looked in the description and directly recognised your clarification about the album “Les Anges Adorables” without crediting you or Congovibes sadly. Anyway, Djujdju is indeed a very great drummer, but he didn’t have to act like that. Hopefully in a second part, they will talk more in details about his collaborations with other artists. ![]() 5

Does anyone know which drum machine Gode Lofombo was using in the Intervention Rapide album?

Congolese Music / Re: RIP EL CHANTO MALEMBE CHANT OF MINZOTO AND VICTORIA ELEISON« on: April 02, 2026, 12:55 »
It’s so sad that he became very ill in recent years. Above all, his song “Ayite sungu” became one of my absolute favourites in recent times, as it reminds me of the 90s and my late relatives. Now the songwriter himself has passed away.
RIP, artist. 7
Congolese Music / Re: It’s rare to see someone of his age being interested in music from the 1980s« on: March 19, 2026, 13:07 »
Yes I’m glad that there are guys of his age, that play or interpret different guitar partitions from older guitarists.
By the way he is the brother of our member @Sydo, that has his YouTube channel “RUMBARCHIVES”. 8
Congolese Music / Re: Wenge Live 1990« on: March 11, 2026, 21:55 »
Thank you for the clarification mbuta muntu. My comment is still there, but the channel owner didn’t mind. I remarked that this channel especially pretends to upload complete albums in HQ, but some tracks in reality are from video clips or the quality of the tracks aren’t good. 9
Congolese Music / Re: Wenge Live 1990« on: March 11, 2026, 16:11 »Here this channel already put the songs together even it’s not the original album name and cover. I’ve also advised the channel to credit the original source, that uploaded the songs on YouTube. Did Blaise Kombo (RIP) already die before the release of the album? 10
Congolese Music / Re: Archive; J.B. M’piana & Wenge B.C.B.G. - Live at Concert Noble in Brussels(2001)« on: March 01, 2026, 08:57 »I hope also that someone would re-upload this concert in a better quality, which was also in Belgium in the same year. 11
Congolese Music / Re: (Rare) Papy Kakol playing drums and percussion (2000)« on: January 26, 2026, 23:05 »
I regret that they muffled the snare sound in the finale version. He played it usually with pressure.
