Is it possible on Congovibes to delete your account, have your reactions and threads erased and then start a new one? I'm seriously fed up seeing every day articles on instagram being written based on my replies and the threads I've created over the past 10 years on this forum. I don't mind people writing articles based on my words, but it's not acceptable to copy posts without properly citing the original source. I had the desire to post articles about albums and events that are hitting 20 and 25 years, but I lost the joy and passion to do it.

You would expect someone who copies other people's posts to at least read and understand what they're copying. Instead, he makes silly mistakes.
Often I forget to add a word or a name when I am writting, which makes a sentence incomplete or unclear, but he copies it exactly as it is without understanding the context. For example, he recently made a post about the song Elongi ya Jesus, claiming that Papa Wemba was nicknamed "L'Évangéliste." While in reality, that nickname belonged to Bogus Bompema. This mistake came from one of my comments, in which I wanted to say that Bogus Bompema apparently wrote the song. (I'm not completely sure about that  because I heard it from someone else, and it's possible that it was actually written by another songwriter). I also explained that, at the time, Bogus Bompema was called "L'Évangéliste" by his fellow collegues because of the way he prayed and preached during rehearsals. Bogus Bompema himself has mentioned this several times in interviews. He said that Papa Wemba once told him that the music scene was full of crazy people and that, sooner or later, he would have to make a choice.

Today, I  saw a post about Jeannette and the person that JB Mpiana was voted as "Meilleur Etoile" translating it directly from "Best Star of the year"while that doesn't exist in Congo. It had to be "Meilleur Vedette de l'Année".
Who and what are the name of the pages that keep copying your comments? Name and shame them because they can get reported for plagiarism.

Who ever is doing it and is reading this now I’ve got a message for you get a grip and come up with your own material or just say nothing at all clowns.

I often see the Insta-page World Music 243 doing such things.
A few months ago I saw an Instagram-post about JB’s song Hi-Ho-Ha, and I looked in the description and directly recognised @Mfumu Vata clarification about the album “Les Anges Adorables” without crediting @Mfumu Vata or even Congovibes sadly.

Apparently Koffi and Fally also reconciled too
Where bro?

I will not write it here otherwise people will use my long questions as information to write articles for their instagram-pages to get alot of likes and reactions without crediting Congovibes as source

Anyway, Djujdju is indeed a very great drummer, but he didn’t have to act like that. Hopefully in a second part, they will talk more in details about his collaborations with other artists.

Does anyone know which drum machine Gode Lofombo was using in the Intervention Rapide album?

It’s so sad that he became very ill in recent years. Above all, his song “Ayite sungu” became one of my absolute favourites in recent times, as it reminds me of the 90s and my late relatives. Now the songwriter himself has passed away.
RIP, artist.

Yes I’m glad that there are guys of his age, that play or interpret different guitar partitions from older guitarists.

By the way he is the brother of our member @Sydo, that has his YouTube channel “RUMBARCHIVES”.

Congolese Music / Re: Wenge Live 1990
« on: March 11, 2026, 21:55 »

Here this channel already put the songs together even it’s not the original album name and cover. I’ve also advised the channel to credit the original source, that uploaded the songs on YouTube.

Did Blaise Kombo (RIP) already die before the release of the album?

It looks like they deleted your comment. It’s sad how some people want to take all the credit for themselves while, in reality, they didn’t made any effort to find those rare archives
I
Blaise Kombo participated on this album. It was before the missed trip to Europe in 1989. Journalist Mpaka Ikombe talked a bit about his participation in the album, on the article about his death

https://www.mbokamosika.com/article-blaise-kombo-perit-en-1990-dans-un-accident-de-circulation-110647874.html

Thank you for the clarification mbuta muntu. My comment is still there, but the channel owner didn’t mind.
I remarked that this channel especially pretends to upload complete albums in HQ, but some tracks in reality are from video clips or the quality of the tracks aren’t good.

I hope also that someone would re-upload this concert in a better quality, which was also in Belgium in the same year.

I regret that they muffled the snare sound in the finale version. He played it usually with pressure.
