Koffi refused several times releasing two versions of the album, he was upset….. The album quickly went gold (disque d’or) because of the two separate copies.. His label also tried to do an entire album with no mabanga, but Koffi refused. After Bord Ezanga Kombo or even during that time period and till today, koffi funds majority of his projects now. Music labels have changed since the 90s in terms of funding projects

The drums, vocals, synths, guitars, at least a good 50-60% of the song was produced through AI…

I love the album. I see Ndombolhino and a few others complaining about “monotone” the album sounds the same etc etc. The album is different from Formule 7. It’s too early to judge the album. Only day two of the album being out. Fally went for Rumba this album, strictly rumba!

The album is definitely Rumba! Too early to judge, but definitely tchatcho spirit in the album. Disc 1 is strong in terms of vocals, composition, melodies, structure! 9/12 songs are solid tracks! Disc 2-4 I haven’t listened too yet.

I’m hopeful this is true. Some reports are suggesting it’s fake news

What was the exact reason they fell off? I heard Alvarito apologized but Fally didn’t care? It was as if Fally couldn’t reconcile with him? When the “Control” album was released it was apparent as ever that alvarito’s signature sound was GONE. Felly Tyson and the rest of the guitarist do a wonderful job, but songs like canne sucre, Aimè Moi the guitar melodies are not highlight enough almost sounding muted.

Damn… rip… so many talented musicians gone too soon. I wish the riff between Fally and Alvarito never happened. Alvarito brought flavor to fally’s music. You can definitely tell now in fally’s music the guitar compositions and energy are not the same.

I believe the album was pushed back to let the first edition settle, it was released right before stade de France,, same concept with XX delirium, it will be released right before the 02 Arena show! Also he’s still finalizing the album, mixing, mastering and features. It’s a 4 disc album.

I think this is the one we are most excited for RUMBA

Here it is:

I wouldn’t say it’s a “throw away” song but 2:39 for total time for the song I’m not really impressed.. In terms of sound and Sonic’s, mixing, mastering, impressive work, but lyric wise, structure wise there’s no momentum or build up.. It’s an okay song but nothing that stands out as “WOW”
