The whole PR around Dynasty was a disaster from the beginning. A lot of people like Lacoste, Bill, Heritier, and co all dropped out. There was no clips, the promotion was poor and overall the album was a flop

Can we call it a flop? Loads of songs from that album were hits. Ecriture Chinois, Visas, Double Taux, Martyrise, Elimine, Seconde Chance. I wouldn’t call that a flop 🤷🏾‍♂️

Man is a creature of habit. If am wired to coffee, my mind convinces me tea is poison.

The crazy part is between the years 2008 to 2018, Koffi sang songs dedicated to Aliya (Grand Prêtre Mère, 12eme dans, Patronne and Alidor) so did these songs not mean anything ? This is messing up my head lol. I guess Cindy really isn’t as innocent as she looks

All male species are polygamous by nature. It’s Biology. You must be in a special category that are practically and mentally monogamous. I’ve never met one yet😂😂😂

How was the concert? Anybody who attended or watched a clean live?

quadra i am with you, look at gally garvey in the urban generation, the man invites innoss b and gaz mawete to his concert the same day, none of the rumba guys can do that because directly or indirectly there is camps
and it benefits gally because he is supported by both innoss and mawete fans and is an efficient outsider to them they make hits he makes it they fill hall in kin he does ,perfect for everybody
wazekwa also had a similar position to jb and werra, friends with both but rivaled them on the musical field to some extent

I have always wondered the same why one can’t be neutral. Both artistes and fans(90%). In some of my wildest imaginations I always ask what a wonder it can be say Fally and Fally do a collaboration. I have come to realize it’s the rivalry that keeps the buzz alive. Without it the scene would be too lame. I don’t support it though. I wish they could all get along and just give us good music without the drama. Tough luck with that one. Like George Bush said, You are either with us or against us……

looool my big bro just made me laugh like mad i showed him the vid and he said this guy is capable of wanting to sing "alingi alela" and so on since he's pretty much shaped most of his big career in maison mere  and it almost sounds like he was just on a quick stepping stone in latino

Brigade did Effrakata, Affaire d'Etat, Danger De Mort with QL. That is more of a stepping stone. Should be considered a solid stint. If am not wrong, In Maison Mere he did almost the same number of albums(Sous Sol, Temps Present-Mai Ya Sika and the Techno Malewa trilogy). What may make his WMMM career more prominent is that he had more catchy and memorable cris and they have been popularized in concerts way way more than his QL ones
I completely agree with you it’s not a stepping stone. Also people forget that him and Kerozene had their rivals Bill and Celeo on the ropes during that time in terms of competition.

That combination was fire. If we are not being nostalgic about Tutu/Genta, Bill/Celeo, Somono/Mboshi and co, they could rank as one of the best animation teams in Congolese history or am I tripping?

in my case i have no problem with werra being very close to heritier,in fact i am happy for them because among the three big names of the "young leaders" they are the ones that have a real father son relationship, the two others have more of big brother/strong mentor thing
however, where the issue comes with heritier's case is that its often used for pettyness,as if for example koffi took lets say bouro and decides to overglaze him  to wind up fally
and the other point i raise about him and  werra is that it gives him a "still taken by the hand" image in a context where his rivals are so emancipated that their opinion can weigh a lot towards their ex leaders,i dont know for others but personally when i say this its not a dig at werra at all,i fault mainly the communication werra's guys do around it,and same for the camp of heritier they can be very cool without drama around
i think where some people are annoyed with it is werra's silence,as i said when starting the topic "for once he stepped out of his silence",because people know that maison mere operate with 12,they consider that his silence means he is behind pulling the strings, especially as it coincide with heritier falling out with ferre all of a sudden
so i think werra is judged like that because he is expected to  be the peacemaker as the father between them instead of supposedly siding with one
if you want to understand my point without making it personal about werra, look at the comments under the videos of the ex quartier latin guys who are coming back towards koffi you'll see that every single of them is attacked  and accused of being used to attack fally, for the simple reason that they come to praise koffi then dont give fally the full glazing they expect and they tell him he has to respect koffi and stuff like that
exactly the same thing people complain about with the werra ferre heritier triangle

Is almost every issue in DRC music scene always interpreted in terms of polemic? For example Werra being quiet and then the assumption is that he is pulling strings. Could it be that he hasn’t done anything and Heritier decides to beef with Ferre on his own? And Werrason decides not to intervene as ‘peacemaker’  for which accusing him could be quite unfair. Former QL members are also tearing each other at times and Mopao doesn’t intervene so I guess two wrongs do not make a right but stilll……

Seems we have decided to forget that in the original post by @archos he mentions Werra saying he wanted both Ferre and Heritier. In fact Ferre’s name is mentioned first. But for the agenda to
agend the Werra-bashing clan are in full mode isolating only Heritier and running with it.

May be unrelated but it’s funny how selective we are:Any time Werra seems to suggest he wants to keep Heritier close and vice versa  or both of them visit the other, we bash Werrason for rubbing Heritier in our faces or Heritier for failing to detach from Werrason. However, we keep praying for a duet between Koffi and Fally, or we applaud when Metrau goes back to
JB as a wonderful move. Or Tutu Kaludji going back to JB. Can someone school me on the logic behind this reasoning? Why are we alright with former members cosying up to former bandleaders but for Heritier and Werra we are always up the wall?

Because Werra does everything out of petty and bitterness.

Is he that bad? I know Koffi may be worse than him but doesn’t get as much bile here
Aren’t you the same one that always complains when Koffi gets criticised here and now you’re saying Koffi doesn’t get it here, make up your mind. Plus it’s not that serious for you to always get upset when Werra and Koffi get “bashed” here it’s not like you know them personally.

I think complain is a strong word. I only point out inconsistencies. And if you had not taken it personal you would have noticed that I always try to understand whenever any of the ‘big’ artists are getting some subjective flak. I do it with Koffi, Werra, Heritier, Ferre etc. The only reason you rarely see me ask about JB or Fally is because they are never criticized here much same reason it may seem am leaning towards Werra is because not a week passes before he is in our crosshairs. And @archos’s answer below yours was quite helpful because he has answered the question with maturity and much sense. Take a leaf from his book next time. And for what it’s worth, Werrason is not even in my top two favorite artists from DRC so that context may be useful next time we discuss Werra

The generique Sieta is recycled Selfie, Papa Mobimba sh*t so will not be listening again(I'm not a fan of generiques so am not bothered by it anyways)

Two rhumbas I'm going to enjoy for a long time (already added to my playlist)

1. Calebasse
2. Loulou

Honourable mention

1 Bien Bien-Catchy and danceable.
I said the generiques will be recycled and monotonous smh he’s been doing the same thing for 10 years. I don’t think I’ll be listening to the album I’m too much of a Cindy hater hahaha  ;D

I remember you saying it and you have been vindicated. On Cindy, I hate what she has done to Quartier Latin but I do love her voice so I do cut her some slack, and the two rhumbas I've mentioned are exactly the type of rhumba I love.

Am gonna enjoy Na Age Oyo and 1 Jour. The others are too fast for my kind of rhumba. I like them slow with a melodious chorus.

Koffi-Airways, Bambino

Fally-Eternellement, Cadenas(though he's played it some times, but not enough)

Werra-Telephone, Tia Nga Laise

Ferre-Moribond, Andy Mputu

Congolese Music / Re: Lobeso attacking Werrason
« on: November 03, 2025, 08:59 »
Werrason did not say all the cries came from him but that some of the great cries came from him because he is also an animator. He went further to praise his former animators for their great work. Was he lying? No, he was not lying. Some of these cries came from wenge fans and known cretaors through him. Some were performed on stage during shows and refined by his animators. This is what happens in all bands...Bill left, Werra did it with Celeo and Roi David, Celeo and Roi David left, Werra did it with Brigade and Lobeso. Brigade left, Werra did it with Bercy Mwana, Bercy left, Werra did it with Ambulance and Golbert. We now have depart unique with Jama and Wasabo. These will leave...more powerful generiques will come.

For ndombolo, he didn't say he created cry but the dance. Tutu did the cry, japonaise did the sound and werra did the dance. Is it false? No!

Next stop in 2026 is Ing Arena, Ovo Arena and finally Accor Arena. Three great shows next year. We challenge Celeo and Lobeso to produce great generiques on their own to show the world that they are good on their own. For magoda cry under Wata, they actually used Werra's tune on calls done by Bercy Mwana (Ali Mbonda kobeta ndenge mini.. ). Otherwise what makes a cry tick is not just the words but a entire production that goes into it. It is as simple as that!

I guess you are answering the wrong issue. The others say Werra said he gave his atalakus all the cris they animated. You are saying that Werra said SOME, not all. So it all goes back to what Werra actually said. If he said he gave them all cris, he is definitely lying, and you defending him is lame. If he said only SOME, which is true, then it is the other people contributing here who have twisted what he said to fit a narrative they want believed, which is lame as well. So, for those of us who don't understand the language, can we kindly get EXACTLY what Werra said so we can know who is spitting bullshit.
